Smart people like to talk about smart things. But we also like to talk about dumb things...really dumb things. Sesana and Bri cover both. “Ya, but who cares?” offers research on youth culture, economic, and political topics we all obsess over. We also offer ways to read beyond the headline or “click-bait” inviting our favorite experts, creatives and entrepreneurs to help inform our opinions.
We strive to help our audience gain nuanced perspectives on fundamental societal issues through digestible research and lively discussions. For the aspirational person, who wants to be informed and improve, but can't resist some good gossip.

Leading with Love with Arewa Basit
This week Bri and Sesana sit down with Arewa Basit-- an influencer, performer, and ambassador for self-expression. In 2019, Arewa appeared on MTV's queer season of "Are You the One.” Arewa grew up in a conservative, Nigerian household where they weren’t able to fully explore their sexuality and gender expression until they left the household. Arewa identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
