Bill Lake began performing standup at age 52. He has headlined at the National Comedy Center, featured at clubs up and down the East Coast, and has performed at the Asheville Comedy Festival, the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, the Rubber City Comedy Festival, the Salem Comedy Festival, and the North Carolina Comedy Festival. Before beginning his stand-up career, Bill was a contributing joke writer for the Late Show with David Letterman, the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and SNL’s Weekend Update.
