Faith is not just a religious term. Faith is our living connection with God.
In Luke 17:5, the Disciples made a profound request. They asked Jesus to increase their faith. In a world filled with difficulties, it would have been understandable had they simply requested Jesus sustain their faith. But they didn’t, they prayed for more faith.
Jesus taught that faith is like a grain of mustard seed. Some have misunderstood this to mean that our faith has to remain small. However, Jesus further expounded on this concept when He taught that once a mustard seed is planted, it will grow into a great tree. The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 12:3, that God has given each of us a measure of faith. Our measure of faith, just like the mustard seed, has the potential to grow into something great.
In today’s episode we’re going to discuss four practical ways to grow your faith.
(1) Identify specific areas where you want your faith to grow.
(2) Seek out resources that focus on those areas.
(3) Surround yourself with people that have the kind of faith you desire.
(4) Take the required action steps.
No matter who you are, no matter where you’re from, No matter if you’ve just begun your faith journey or you’ve been living for God for years, God wants to increase your faith.
