Finding a Way Forward

In Exodus 14, the Lord said unto Moses, “Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.”
If only it were as easy as getting the word to move forward and taking that first step and being well on our way. However, moving forward is not always as easy as it sounds. Life can be complicated at times. Life is a work in progress. But progress is a good thing, even if its only one step at a time.
In this episode we will discuss and debunk the following five myths about moving forward:
Myth 1: Moving forward is easy.
Myth 2: Moving forward means never feeling the pain again.
Myth 3: You have to be better before you can move forward.
Myth 4: Everyone moves forward at the same pace.
Myth 5: No one else struggles with moving forward as much as you.
We will also take a look at two biblical examples who took completely opposite paths. Peter denied. Judas betrayed. Both of them sinned. Both felt remorse. Yet they made opposite decisions regarding their future. Peter chose to move forward and was greatly used by God. Unfortunately, Judas did not.
Finally, we will explore three effective ways to move forward. We must remember that each difficult life event is but a chapter, not the completed book. God is not through writing your story. He will help us turn the page.
