In today’s episode we’re going to talk about Divine intervention. Divine intervention is when God steps in and changes the outcome of a situation.
The King James Bible has 1,189 chapters. However, only four chapters, Genesis chapter 1‐2 and Revelation chapter 21‐22 are exempt from man’s need for God to intervene. Genesis 1-2 is about the perfect man. Revelation 21-22 is about the perfected man. The remaining 1,185 chapters is a record of man's struggle and Gods divine intervention.
The Old Testament and New Testament are filled with examples of God intervening. In the Old Testament, God intervened and delivered Israel out of Egyptian bondage. In the New Testament, Jesus, moved with compassion, healed a man with leprosy.
You may be thinking, those stories are from a long time ago, but what about today? Does God still intervene today?
Thankfully, Hebrews 13:8 answers this question. It states that "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever." Yes! God still intervenes on our behalf. What God did for others in the past, He can do for you today.
Regardless of what you're going through or how difficult the situation, God can make a way. I pray this episode encourages you. Even when you can’t see it, God is working.
