Even though we strive to do right and learn from our mistakes, there are times we find ourselves struggling with the same things over and over again.
It can be a vicious cycle that leaves us discouraged and feeling disappointed in ourselves.
The good news is, God is not finished working on you. God is longsuffering toward us. In Ephesians 2:10, Paul said, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
The word “workmanship” means the process of making something. It’s the quality imparted during the process of it being made.
The New International Version uses the word “masterpiece” instead of workmanship. Even though you struggle, you’re a masterpiece in the works!
Like clay in the hands of a master potter, or a paintbrush in the hand of an artist, you are still a work in progress.
Don’t give up on yourself, God’s still working on you!
