I'm your host, Ann LeMaster, let's get started with today's episodes. We're going to talk about toxic chemicals and how it affected a young teenager, the order of foods, seven signs of magnesium deficiency, nighttime leg cramps and advertisements. And we're going to end up with messages from Matthew. Those of you that haven't heard messages from Matthew before, I'll tell you right now, it's a little bit out there for some people. Some call it woo-woo. I believe it gives me comfort, and I love it. I get them the first of every month. 


This young boy was 19, and he was killed in a car accident. He contacts his mother, and his mother, who didn't want anything to do with that like most of us would feel. And finally, for some reason, I don't remember how it was, but she did. So he channels, if that's the right word to use. It resonates with me because I am a very spiritual person and having experiences with my deceased loved ones, my nephew, Matthew, same name, was killed in a car accident, same way. He was 24 when he died, and he contacts me as well as several of my other ancestors. So call me woo-woo, crazy, I don't care because it gives me comfort. And if you don't want to hear it, it's going to be at the end so I'll warn you up front. But I invite you to listen and allow what fits to join your soul, and discard what doesn't. So with that, let's get started. 


Have you ever checked the ingredients list and the products that you buy? There's a hidden truth lurking in many of these items, from your shampoo and personal care products, to your cleaning supplies, and even the cookware in your kitchen. Think aluminum pots and pans. Actually, several of these items have been banned in many countries around the world, because recent studies have proven that these common household products contain dangerous chemicals that have been linked to cancer. What is it? Teflon? That's one of them.


A recent heartbreaking article about a 15 year old girl from Scotland who experienced severe itching all over her body, which was initially thought to be an allergy, suspected of food intolerance or other allergic reaction, and suggested that she keep a diary of everything she ate, and which products she put on her skin. The itching became unbearable to the point where she could not sleep and was clawing at her skin. Her mother reflected on the months before the girl's diagnosis saying that she hadn't been feeling right for some time. She was complaining of a constant itch. Her whole body was itching all the time. It was waking her up at night, and she was clawing at her skin so we took her to the general practitioner, the GP. They took some blood, and her folic acid level was low. She was prescribed supplements for three months, but those didn't help. After months of discomfort, the doctor suggested that she keep a diary of what she ate and the beauty products she used, and advised her to avoid her cat and dog thinking she might be allergic to their fur. When her sister noticed a big lump on her neck, the family took her to the emergency room. Soon after, they learned that she had stage 2 Hodgkin Lymphoma. A type of cancer that affects white blood cells. 


Most common symptom for this is a painless swelling in the lymph nodes, which can occur in areas like the neck, armpit or groin. It was heartbreaking for a girl of that age. Her mother shared how devastating the diagnosis was, feeling helpless because they couldn't do much except support her. She went on to say, as one of the IT girls, she's beautiful, stunning, but she doesn't want anyone to see her because her hair is falling out. How painful this must be for a parent to see their child go through something like this. The doctors explained that her treatment would include four cycles of chemo, and she has already completed two. She used to love wearing makeup and a baked pan, which are both suspects. But now, she can't do those things. It breaks my heart to see someone so young going through something as terrible as this, all because she might not have realized how toxic her favorite beauty products were. But she's not the only one who's guilty of this. Most of us are. 


There's an eye opening study that was conducted by Environmental Health Perspectives, which found that there are 921 chemicals that raise the risk of breast cancer. For example, shockingly, 90% of these chemicals are found everywhere in consumer goods, foods and drinks, pesticides, medicines, and even workspaces. This is really important for all of us to be aware of because it could save thousands of women's lives. Sadly, the chemical will never tell you which of their products are carcinogenic, so the cycle will continue, and most people will be vulnerable to cancer causing chemicals around them. There are documents called MSDS sheets that will say what is in the chemical and the causes, stuff like that. It's been a long time since I've looked at one, but xylene was one, and that causes bone cancer. I've been exposed to that 50 years ago for 30 years. So anyway, so far so good. This is really important for all of us to be aware of because it could save thousands of women's lives. The chemical will never tell you, and more people will be vulnerable to theirs so that's why so many of us in the holistic health field speak this to open your eyes for the truth. I know that was choppy, but hey, you get the truth. 


Did you know what is on your plate and how you eat that matters? The order of your meals can actually impact your blood sugar response. According to research, here are the suggested orders of eating. Fiber first, protein and fat second, starches and sugars last. This sequence of eating helps your body balance blood sugar levels. Balancing your blood sugar goes beyond just managing your weight. It can help to increase the energy levels throughout the day, improve focus and cognitive function, balance hormones and so much more. This is just a taste of what you can expect to learn in my Taming Diabetes Differently program. It's practical tips like these that make waves in a client's health when applied to knowledge by certified health coaches and nurses. 


Next are 7 signs about your magnesium deficiency. Magnesium deficiencies are incredibly common. In fact, it's estimated that up to 75% of people are deficient in magnesium. When you don't get enough of this essential mineral, it can cause a wide range of unpleasant symptoms to make matters worse. Most medical professionals don't connect these symptoms to a lack of magnesium. And since only 1% of magnesium is in the bloodstream, blood tests don't detect deficiencies. Remarkably, magnesium is used in more than 300 biochemical processes in the body, this includes the heart, muscles, kidney digestion and hormone production. When you don't get enough of it, things start to go wrong. 


Here's 7 common signs that you may need more magnesium. High blood pressure causes blood to flow through your arteries with too much force, which can significantly increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. Scientists have found that magnesium has a direct effect on the ability of your blood vessels to relax. This means that when you don't get enough magnesium, it can increase your blood pressure. Studies have also found that when you consume magnesium rich foods, your risk of stroke falls by 8% particularly ischemic stroke. 


Muscle cramps and spasms. Have you ever had painful muscle cramps in your legs? Or twitching muscle that doesn't seem to stop, also called the spasm most people have. These muscle problems are often caused by magnesium deficiency, much like with your blood vessels. Your muscles need magnesium to relax. Simply eating foods rich in magnesium and potassium may help relieve these annoying and uncomfortable cramps. 


Chronic insomnia. It is estimated that 6 out of every 10 Americans struggle with insomnia, the inability to fall asleep or remain asleep. Guilty one. Quick fix is sleeping pills. Never worked for me. However, these can have a hangover effect the following day or even make you form a dependency on them. But what if your sleep problems could be cured by simply getting more magnesium? Studies have found that you can get deeper, less interrupted sleep by getting enough magnesium in your diet. No pills required. 


Headaches. When was the last time you had a headache? Try to remember the sensation. Most people describe headaches as a tense sort of pain because most headaches are caused by some tension or inflammation. This tension is often the result of low magnesium levels. In this way, a magnesium deficiency could be the cause of your headaches. One study found that people who experience migraines have significantly lower levels of magnesium compared to people who don't get migraines. 


Fragile bones. Everyone knows that you need calcium for healthy bones, but that's only part of the story. The truth is, your body needs a variety of nutrients to maintain healthy bones, including magnesium, as much as half of your body's magnesium is stored in your bones. Magnesium is essential to help absorb calcium and keep your bones strong. There's a real risk when you don't have enough. Numerous studies have found that magnesium deficiencies are linked to cabrital and fragile bones. 


Constipation. You may have noticed a theme by now. Magnesium is a mineral of relaxation. It allows your blood vessels, muscles, mind, and even your digestive system to relax. Your intestines are controlled by muscles that move waste out of the body. But if you lack magnesium, your intestinal muscles can't function as they should, resulting in constipation. Magnesium plays such an important role in digestive motility that some doctors will even prescribe magnesium in large doses as a laxative to help patients with constipation. 


Anxiety. One of the more surprising symptoms of a magnesium deficiency is anxiety and stress. Recent research shows that there's a strong relationship between magnesium and mood disorders. For example, magnesium decreases your brain sensitivity to Adrenocorticotropic Hormone or ACTH, which causes your body to release cortisol, the primary hormone that causes stress. This means that magnesium deficiency can make you more susceptible to anxiety and stress. Scientists are even beginning to discover that supplementing magnesium can help relieve anxiety. 


Top foods from magnesium to find relief from these symptoms, you simply need enough magnesium as with other vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and vital nutrients. So now, does anybody get cramps in their legs at night? I do. The causes and solutions. Nighttime leg cramps are also called nocturnal leg cramps, and may be referred to as Charley Horse or muscle spasms. They are characterized by involuntary contractions or spasms in your leg muscles that are painful and often severe. They tend to occur at night when you're in bed. Most commonly, they are located in your calf muscles. However, you may also experience nighttime leg cramps in your thighs or feet as well. You should not confuse nighttime leg cramps with Restless Leg Syndrome. They are not the same thing. Restless Leg Syndrome is more of a discomfort with a crawling sensation, but it is rarely painful or severe. The discomfort of Restless Leg Syndrome is relieved when the movement stops, and stretching usually helps the issue. While nighttime leg cramps are more severe and more difficult to relieve. 


Main causes of nighttime leg cramps. Nighttime leg cramps are more common than you may think. They affect up to 60% of adults, and 7% of children and teens. The risk of nighttime leg cramps tends to increase with age, and affect more women than men. They also affect 40% of pregnant women. While leg cramps are common, only about 20% of people with nighttime leg cramps seek medical attention to find relief from nighttime leg cramps. First, you need to understand some of the potential main causes of the cramps. Let's get into it. 


Muscle injury. It may not be surprising to you that a muscle injury may result in nighttime leg cramps, while an injury from an accident or a sports injury may lead to an issue that causes nighttime leg cramps. You may also be dealing with a muscle injury without one specific event being the cause overexertion of your muscles, sitting improperly, sitting for long periods of time without getting up or standing, or working on concrete floors may lead to a chronic muscle injury or inflammation that may come with nighttime leg cramps. It is important that you consider your posture and daily activities to see if you may be dealing with a muscle injury. 


Dehydration may occur for a number of reasons. One of the most common causes of dehydration is simply not drinking enough water throughout the day. However, exercising, gardening or doing physical labor especially in hot weather, having diarrhea, or vomiting, or being sick can also dehydrate your body. Dehydration depletes your body from important fluids, salts and minerals such as calcium and magnesium. Dehydration may lead to muscle pain, muscle spasms and night leg cramps. So when you're dehydrated, your body has to prioritize keeping enough fluids for your brain and other vital organs instead of your muscles. This means that fluid is being drawn away from your muscles. There are also many nerves that are connected to your muscles. They cannot function properly without enough water and sodium, which may lead to involuntary contractions and nighttime muscle cramps. If you're sweating at night, you may continue to lose fluids and dehydrate your body further leading to more nighttime leg cramps. Overnight, an electrolyte imbalance or mineral depletion is one of the common causes of nighttime leg cramps and muscle cramps in general. Specifically, too little potassium, calcium or magnesium in your day diet may interrupt proper electrical signals being sent to your muscles and result in nighttime leg grams. Diuretics, which may be prescribed for high blood pressure or other issues, may also lead to the depletion of these minerals causing an electrolyte imbalance in consequent nighttime leg cramps. 


Edema and swelling. Its medical term used for swelling, edema is when your small blood vessels leak fluids into the tissues in the area. It may result in edema. Your legs may swell as a result of an injury, inflammation, pregnancy, medications or infections. You may also experience lymphedema or lymphatic obstruction as a result of lymphatic congestion. Your lymphatic system circulates a fluid called lymph. It is a vital part of your immune system, and essential for your immune function. Lymphedema is often caused by the damage or removal of the lymph nodes during cancer treatment. This may lead to lymphatic blockage preventing the lymph to drain causing swelling. Other issues of the lymphatic system may also lead to lymphatic congestion and consequence swelling, cramps pain. Edema and swelling may all lead to chemical and heavy metal toxicity. Toxins are all around us. Air pollution, smoking chemicals in our tap water, pesticides in our non organic and processed foods, chemicals in our conventional body, beauty and cleaning products, chemicals and plastic, and heavy metals, and dental fillings may all lead to inflammation and health issues. Chemical and heavy metal toxicity, especially higher levels of urinary pesticides, heavy metals, polyaromatic hydrocarbons have been associated with nighttime leg cramps while sleeping. So solutions for nighttime leg cramps, about three fifths of the population are dealing with nighttime leg cramps. Hence, I'm not alone. This obviously impacts the quality of sleep you are getting at night, and can be a major nuisance. With some natural strategies, you can reduce, prevent and eliminate nighttime leg cramps and return to enjoying a good night's sleep. 


Here's what you want to consider good hydration. As you've learned, dehydration may cause your muscles to cramp up and spasm at nighttime. Prevent dehydration. It's important that you drink plenty of water throughout the day. Recommended at least 8 to 10 glasses of water each day, or commonly referred to as half your body weight in ounces. If you're exercising, doing physical labor, sweating, or outside in the hot sun a lot, sick or feeling dehydrated, it's recommended to have more. Listen to your body. Remember, once you feel thirsty, chances are you're already dehydrated so it's crucial that you drink on a regular basis instead of chugging down a big glass once you feel very thirsty. And let me caution you, when you're going to drink during a meal, drink most of your water a half an hour before you eat, because the water dilutes the stomach acid and you don't digest as well. So water is a good thing at the proper time. Drink your water before a meal about a half an hour before you eat.


In addition to water, add hydrating vegetables and fruits, green juices, smoothies and herbal tea to your day removing any dehydrating sodas because they're chemicals. Energy drinks, sugary drinks and limited coffee are live diuretics. Make sure to hydrate in the evening to avoid nighttime dehydration and leg cramps. An unhealthy diet, low on nutrients, dehydration, medications and illness may deplete your body from important minerals that are critical to your well being. Missing these minerals may lead to electrolyte imbalance and nighttime leg cramps. To ensure balanced electrolyte mineral levels, eat a nutrient rich diet and trace minerals. Remove any refined sugar, refined oils and processed junk foods that are low in nutrients and may lead to mineral depletion. 


Focus on foods that are rich in minerals. Pay special attention to potassium, calcium and magnesium. Foods such as avocados, bananas, oranges, cooked spinach, cooked broccoli, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, eggplant, zucchini, leafy greens, peas, cucumbers, apricots, prunes and grapefruit juice are fantastic sources of potassium. Leafy greens, seafood and grass fed dairy are great sources of calcium. Green, leafy veggie, broccoli, avocados, nuts, seeds, dark chocolate and cow are excellent sources of magnesium. Additionally, eat lots of greens, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, pasture raised meat, free range poultry and eggs, and wild caught fish. And of course, your daily movement and stretching muscle injuries, sitting too much and lack of movement may lead to nighttime leg cramps. 


Hence, it is critical that you stay active throughout the day and remain physically fit in general. In order to develop more flexibility and strength, it's recommended that you exercise for 20 to 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. Mix it up with both cardiovascular and resistances during training exercises. High intensity interval training is fantastic for both. However, you may try what works for you. Swimming, biking, running, walking, hiking, dancing are great for cardio while weight lifting. Crossfit TRX and pilates are good for strength. Yoga and pilates are great low impact choices. Make sure to warm up and cool down before and after your workout to prevent muscle fatigue and injuries. Additionally, avoid sitting or standing too much or for too long. Get up and move a bit throughout the day. Go for a walk at lunchtime or before or after work. Stretch your legs regularly. Try some self massage. You may also visit a physical therapist, chiropractor or massage therapist for further guidance and body work to relieve muscle tension and nighttime leg cramps. 


Research has shown that massage and bodywork can relieve muscle pain and aid relaxation, so use calcium and magnesium at night. A mineral rich nutrient inside is not always enough. Some strong souls use their free will to put into dormancy 10 of weaker souls, 12 DNA strands, and confine those numb souls in a matrix that had excluded all the marvelous qualities and abilities God had bestowed upon them thus began the universal battle between the light forces and the dark forces, and it had been raging ever since. Let us in that matrix to tightly wound balls of yawn in Earth's energy field of potential, which reflects activity on the planet, down through the ages. Those balls stayed rigidly in place as activity in the field showed how one civilization after another was dominated by a succession of powerful, greedy, ruthless individuals. 


About 90 years ago, an influx of light loosened the balls and they started traveling. They continued unraveling throughout the decades that followed. And today, the matrix is but countless threads flailing chaotically. That analogy, however paltry, represents the ending of the universal battle on earth. You see that as all the chaos just like everything, the dark forces fight with divisiveness, deception, corruption and fear, the light forces use only the power of love and in the continuum, they already have won the battle the souls you have helped awaken now know this, and it is well served them and you. When truths start tumbling out, we don't know exactly when that will be, or the order in which truth will come forth. But it is realistic to anticipate that before long, you will be amid the virtual cauldron of emotional disturbance. The most dynamic stage of your earth journey is night. 


No matter who gets elected, it's going to be chaotic, so just know that. Don't be surprised by it, but just keep the love and light energy, it's in your heart. Speak to God, say your prayers. You have been told by messengers of the light, that of the billions of souls who wanted to experience this unprecedented time on Earth in this universe, you were chosen because you are the strongest. That is not flattery. That is that. It is why many of you are in the trenches, so to say, with white hats, red hats, or patriot groups, or our journalists, scientists, whistleblowers, or undercover agents, and all of you are radiating and anchoring the light that is undergirding all rightful activities and actions. 


Beloved sisters and brothers, you've got this. I feel as though I am part of it, because I tell the truth on my podcast, and I have two strikes against me for doing it so I'll continue to tell the truth. I'll die for what I believe in. Matthew often says, be fearless, as if fear always is negative. What about when it gives a person an adrenaline rush that saves his own life or someone else's? It isn't fear. It is fearlessness that motivates someone to dash headlong into danger to save a life. Fear paralyzes the mind. It is clear thinking and common sense that are your allies when swift action is needed, and we're not overlooking the value of knowing survival techniques. It isn't fear that motivates firefighters to run into a burning building and carry out individuals caught in the blaze. And Coast Guardsmen don't act out of fear when they dive into frigid water to rescue drowning persons. Those responders act knowledgeably and appropriately as well as courageously.


Fear isn't what spurs people to help strangers who are trapped in a craft vehicle, or who are struggling to rise after a fall. For instance, they see that help is needed, and the response comes from the heart. Conscience, instinct and intuition are ingredients of the soul, and thereby are natural reactions. Fear is an acquired sensation. Taught the children, or they learn it by observation, parents by example and guidance. Please teach your children safety measures and precautions, not fearfulness. Not only is fear of greatly magnified emotion with vibrations in the lowest frequency range, it is contagious when a person fears a current or imminent situation or even some WHAT IF's. That strong energy flows to nearby individuals who then also have sensations of bright and fear is a dark one source of fuel, and perhaps the most effective tool. Their very survival requires a continual supply of low frequency energy so they create situations that cause widespread fear in the populace, whose reactions supply that with the low vibrations that sustain the producers of those situations. 


Think of the fear with fast wearing and COVID, and with what's going on in the world and World War lll is imminent and goes on and on. I refuse to live in fear. I choose love and light. That vicious cycle involves the universal law of attraction. Energy streamers with fear attachments shooting to the collective consciousness. Find situations with matching energy, and bring those back to Earth, thus perpetuating fear filled circumstances. 


Dear ones, be fearless. Will the winner of the US Presidential election make positive differences worldwide? It would not be accurate to attribute positive differences to the election winner or any other individual. The pathway to benevolent changes in your world has been paid by the light forces, volunteers, other light workers such as the hats, members of the extraterrestrial Special Forces, all persons living in godly ways, and light beaming far distant civilizations and the ever rising vibrations that are fortifying all efforts based in goodness. The computers that turn on your thinking and reasoning processes, and this is necessary. The light being absorbed by your cells is allowing your brain to swap the layers of forgetfulness, and programming that has denied them the full functioning ability. If you are not experiencing any memory loss or a sense of scattered thinking, then you are stuck in the third density that not much longer will be the status of Earth's being. No soul would willingly choose to be haunted by that horror. Each baby or little child lives in a cheerful room with friendly animals as companions, while a specialist gently soothes cellular memories, whether that process takes a year or a century. The original souls, second personage, have more awareness and live a bit longer. Souls and subsequent incarnations have increasing measures of intelligence, reasoning ability and growth, experiencing that gradual return to a normal life span, reducing the effects of cellular memory until it has only minimal subliminal influence on the person's life. Individuals whose diabolical acts cause that kind of suffering and death incur karma that may be a number of very difficult lifetimes in the third density world. Confinement in the tiny orb where their density matches their lifetime. Energy or reabsorption by Creator Source, when all souls have their beginnings. Let us add that Nirvana will continue with sending earth successfully higher into lighter energy planes. But the orb will not when all Earth humankind are 4D in evolutionary status, the orbs residents will be transferred to a similar dense outpost of a 3D civilization spirit world, and the orbs energy will be neutralized with an infusion of light, then return to one of the universe's energy fool revealing the truth about dark ones.
