Steve was born and raised in Chicago and is familiar with growing up in that Boomer era of midwest manly toughness and masculinity.
Between all three they discuss the struggles men in particular, but really most youth, face today on how to view themselves within the correct lens.
What is their truth, what is emotion and what is ok to express. What does it mean to "Be a man?"
They also discuss how both "micro- & macro-trauma's" as Marcel termed them have played subtle but also major impacts, for good and bad, within each other their own relationships.
This very often stemmed from the home-life situation, and their community atmospheres.
