Dr. Martin Hiesboeck is Head of Research at Uphold. He provides business and technology consulting in the blockchain and crypto currency space. In his capacity he is advising governments, NGOs, and companies on blockchain and cryptocurrency technology, its applications, and implementation. His focus is on the future of blockchain, CBDCs, payment systems and the metaverse. He started his professional journey in the international technology marketing space, where he worked for leading tech companies especially in Asia and Europe. He has been working with blockchain technology since 2012.

Mr. Jacobs has 30+ years of leadership experience in the semiconductor industry. Before joining Uphold Securities as its Managing Director, Head of Research, he led the global business optimization for sales, marketing, and manufacturing at Advanced Energy (AEIS). He has held leadership roles at Texas Instruments, Microsemi, and Avnet during his professional career.
