Hi, this is Katie, and thank you for joining me on the Creating Your Sanctuary podcast, and this is a podcast about creating those little moments and space that support you.

And lately, I have been noticing a shift in my body.

I am trying to go through a schedule that I've been practicing for the last few months where I finally figured out how to balance different mediums and different things that I'm doing and I'm very much enjoying them.

And I, My body is like, wait, there's something else that you should be focusing on.

And I'm trying to understand that right now.

I'm trying to go, wait.

This is what I've been wanting.

I've been craving like, kind of an up level, kind of a new perspective, kind of bringing things in so that more cohesive and I'm trying to figure that out.

So I just kind of wanted to share that with you all.

I'm not going to go into specifics on what I'm doing because I am still figuring it out, but I think it's important information.

When, you know, you've enjoyed doing the tasks, um, creating or doing certain things for a while, and then you kind of hit a point where you're like, this needs to shift.

This needs to grow.

And maybe it's because my roots are outgrowing the small little pot I'm in.

I mean, moving here to the Netherlands, you know, you have to kind of for at least my visa.

I need to have a business running and I need to keep that going.

And I planted a lot of seeds for that.

But those seeds are now sprouting into something I wasn't quite expecting, but I'm thrilled.

And I'm like, wait, how do all these puzzle pieces fit together?

I'm mixing analogies, but, um, you know, how does this all fit together in are some things stifling other things that I want to be doing?

And I think that's part of the thing that's coming up is, There were lots of videos that I was making.

But the time that I was spending on those was removing oxygen from the things that I could be doing.

And while I kind of had some hints of that, in my heart, I guess, and in the back of my mind, I was not fully acknowledging them.

I was not, you know, taking action to make those shifts.

So my body was like, wait a minute.

We're going to start procrastinating, or avoiding, or like, because I've done a lot of work where, you know, I'm not focused on doing 110% every time.

Like, I feel, like, good enough and doing my best at the time is enough.

And I was making those deadlines.

I was putting things out.

But to what end?

Like to what are what is the end goal of this?

And I guess, the goals became more sharper and shifted and that's what I'm mulling through right now.

So, If you see me on other platforms being a little quiet, that might be, because I'm kind of sitting on them, kind of, kind of mulling it over, and going, wait a minute, there's opportunities here, because I see everything in an, as an opportunity.

I really do.

Um, All your ideas can become compost for new ones.

And I just needed some time and space to kind of wrap my head around them.

And so I'm kind of in the middle of that, that messy mill, right?

So, and I think part of it was my mom being here, but then like everything started shifting around me too.

was, you know, my husband got a job, and my son is starting into kind of a different schedule, and I was like, oh, wait, I'm going to have more alone time here at home, and that's a good thing.

That's a great thing, you know, because I can actually do other things.

Um, And so it's like, well, what kind of media do I want to put out?

I have opportunities to, you know, do some different kinds of filming and to experiment and to see like, what could I expand into?

And I think that's what I'm feeling?

There's an expansion coming and I'm just, I'm inviting it.

But I'm also unsure of what it's going to look like. And I have a lot of resources where I'm organizing my thoughts and I'm sorting things out and seeing how things can be more interconnected because I feel like I do have the same voice on a lot of different platforms.

I literally have my voice here, but it's a common message among all of them.

It's a be kind to yourself.

It is seeing opportunities.

It is, you know, taking things, one little step at a time with energy that you have, and that can apply in so many different ways.

And I love helping people with those things.

But what form does it take?

Because you can't just sit here and say, I'd love to help you.

You have to be more concrete than that.

And so, um, because I can't help with 100% of everything, but I can help with certain tasks and certain things that people are going through.

So, I just wanted to share that.

I wanted to be kind of open about it and kind of offer that you can kind of dig deeper into your own life as well and kind of consider. Is your body telling you things of like, now it's time to switch gears?

Now it's time to,

Um, maybe let things go that, um, are no longer yours and what would make things lighter?

So that maybe you can grow and expand into something better for yourself.

So however you're Creating Your Sanctuary right now, whatever gear you're getting into and whatever things you're letting go of, it's enough, and I'm also telling myself that right now.
