Welcome to “The Search.” The purpose of this program is to explore the proper method of examining the Bible to discover its meaning. We believe that the meaning of Scripture is synonymous with the truth and that loyalty to Christ involves the relentless pursuit of that meaning—both to know it and to be transformed by it.

Most Christians take for granted that when they open an English Bible they are reading the word of God, but how did the Bible come to us in the formats we are accustomed to today? In this series called, "The Word to all Peoples, Nations, and Languages: Backgrounds of the English Bible," David helps us to understand how the Bible was translated into English and why there are so many versions now available.
Lesson one is all about the early days of Christianity when the apostles and prophets first began to write books and letters.
