THEATER CAMP is pretty funny. It is cute. It is irreverent. If you are a theater person you will appreciate the inside nuance depicting the chaos and challenge of putting on a stage play - especially when the show’s success means life (success) or death (failure) for the camp itself. There are plenty of moments that we can all relate to, I, as example, made a rather bad choice when tap dancing in our local dance studio’s annual gala. To this day I sometimes flash back to the embarrassment and humiliation I felt on stage - portraying Donald Duck at six years of age. Baseball was so much more my element. I do, however, remember - and on the rarest of giddy occasions - bust off a step-shuffle-hop-ball-change move. Maybe I should have stayed with it. Theater Camp ends Thursday night, come check it out before the extra-terrestrials crash down Friday.
JULES follows Milton Robinson (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley) who lives a quiet life of routine in a small western Pennsylvania town, but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard. Before long, Milton develops a close relationship with the extra-terrestrial he calls "Jules." Things become complicated when two neighbors (Harriet Sansom Harris and Jane Curtin) discover Jules and the government quickly closes in. What follows is a funny, wildly inventive ride as the three neighbors find meaning and connection later in life -- thanks to this unlikely stranger. Following is a random sampling of comments from RT where Jules currently sits at a very favorable 89% audience rating.

OPENING NIGHT FILM at the HISTORIC LYNWOOD THEATRE. Glauber “Pro” Contessoto—an immigrant working multiple jobs and living in a 220-square-foot apartment—gambles his life savings on a joke cryptocurrency. Two months later, he becomes “The Dogecoin Millionaire” and a hero to his growing YouTube following.
It’s easy to get rich online. But as Pro will soon discover, it’s even easier to lose it all. Amateur investors like Pro must navigate a landscape that’s rife with scams, bad advice, and a fear of missing out. THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE exposes the startling risks and rewards of today’s market through expert commentary and the anxiety-inducing stories of real people trying to make millions. Co-directed by BHS-grad, Zach Ingrasci. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5460180/
IN ATTENDANCE: Zach Ingrasci (Director). Zach is an old friend who visited us (via remote) on the podcast back on Sept 3. 2022 to promo his then latest release Free to Care.
