The episode that you will be listening to is an interview I recorded with John Eric Henry (JEH) the manager for the safe parking program in alameda county

The safe parking program is individuals that are experiencing from housing insecurity, as they are living in their cars.  The program is called safe parking because the goal is to provide them a safe space to park their car while they receive services to transition them out of homelessness into housing.

I met John Eric, I like to call him JEH, through my 9-5 doing work helping people suffering from homelessness. And I got to know him and the remarkable work that he does.  A person of service and I wanted to delve deeper into this Maester’s mind around this topic.

To me service is an integral part of living our best and most fulfilling lives. I hope you listen and truly hear this great intellect and kind soul.

I also want to apologize for the sound quality but I did not want to rerecord, because I wanted to get this episode to you on this Maester of Service, our real life front line heroes.

His favorite quotes are:

“That which makes you happy can’t make you fly” - Peter Pan

“Feed Your Head” - Alice In Wonderland

His book recommendation is the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
