Many learners lack knowledge or awareness of the different motivational beliefs that are influencing their approach to learning. In Episode 6, Rory McCaughey and Dr Shyam Barr explore the idea of "belief mining", the notion of identifying a learner's deeply held motivational beliefs and making them explicit for greater action.
