Conversations on African Philanthropy
In Conversation with Jacqueline Asiimwe
In this special edition, partly recorded with a live audience at the Wits Business School, Jacqueline Asiimwe takes us through her upbringing, CivSource Africa, philanthropy advisory, and her now famous walks.
Jacqueline is a lawyer, leadership coach, and social development thought leader. She is the Founder of CivSource Africa, a philanthropy advisory firm that works to influence philanthropic practice through grant management and advisory services on funding, context, and strategy. Jacqueline works to shape narratives about giving and philanthropy within low-net-worth communities while promoting the idea that generosity is part of many African societies' cultural legacy and social code.
