Ingel Clay is a Liberian poet and writer who has worked in the development sector reaching the west African region.

In her conversation with Prof. Moyo, Ingel discusses the African Women Writers programme as well as the intersections of development and creative practice, which she embraces. Some of their talking points include;

This series of conversations with women in African philanthropy was recorded on the sidelines of the African Women Writers retreat that took place at the Wits Rural Facility in Limpopo, South Africa, and hosted by CAPSI’s Adɔyɛ Programme and Nawi Afrifem Collective. Adɔyɛ is dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the contributions of African women in philanthropy while creating spaces for dialogue, learning and collaboration.
