Coumba Toure is a writer, founder of Invisible Giants, and the Board Chair of TrustAfrica. She designs and produces a range of educational material and programmes for children and young people through the Falia Artist Collective.

In her conversation with Prof. Moyo, Coumba discusses the intersection between development and the arts, and the work of including young people across the continent. Some of their talking points include;

This series of conversations with women in African philanthropy was recorded on the sidelines of the African Women Writers retreat that took place at the Wits Rural Facility in Limpopo, South Africa, and hosted by CAPSI’s Adɔyɛ Programme and Nawi Afrifem Collective. Adɔyɛ is dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the contributions of African women in philanthropy while creating spaces for dialogue, learning and collaboration.
