Today, we’re marching for change with Lucie Bayer, a mother, daughter, sister, and a patient marketing and advocacy leader with over 20 years of experience advancing human-centered strategies across rare disease, oncology, and chronic care. She is currently Director of Patient Marketing at Day One Biopharmaceuticals, where she leads unbranded and branded patient marketing for OJEMDA, including market-shaping campaigns, caregiver education programs, and a national Caregiver Ambassador initiative supporting families affected by pediatric low-grade glioma.

Across her career, Lucie has led multiple product and expanded-indication launches spanning ultra-rare and chronic conditions, including Hepatitis C, Cystic Fibrosis, Hereditary Angioedema, Acromegaly, and pediatric cancer. Her work is grounded in deep collaboration with advocacy organizations, patient and caregiver communities, and healthcare teams to translate lived patient experiences into meaningful education, trust, and engagement. She brings a global, creative lens to transforming complex science into strategies that make a real difference for patients and their families.

Lucie’s career began in the Czech Republic, where she worked for global marketing communications agencies such as JW Thompson and BBDO. Her work has since been recognized with numerous industry accolades across both agency and pharmaceutical roles, including the 2025 Top Marketer of the Year by DTC National.
