From Grandma, with Shade
She was a nun teaching in inner-city Detroit in the 1940s. She was the first female partner in a stock brokerage firm in North America (allegedly) in the 1980s. She was a b****! She was, to me at least, spectacular. Each episode of From Grandma, with Shade shares stories of my outrageous and often problematic grandmother. Some witnessed first-hand by me and some that I've heard from other family members. All likely a bit embellished, in the way that legends are over time...and she was LEGENDARY!
