To say that Canada's policies towards the PRC (China) are in a mess is a serious understatement. Despite warnings for decades by Canadian intelligence, a succession of governments does not seem to be taking the threats the PRC poses to our economy and to Canadian Chinese citizens seriously enough. Canada is now seen by some as irrelevant when it comes to international action on how to deal with the PRC.
