Security intelligence and law enforcement agencies do very important jobs in investigating threats to our nations. As a consequence, they have to have the resources to do that, without interference for political reasons. What is happening in the US, however, seems to go against this, from the appointment of completely unqualified leaders to the firing of qualified professionals. What are the implications of all this? I talk with a former member of the USIC.
