That terrorism is a daily phenomenon somewhere in the world in any given 24-hour period should come as a surprise to no one who follows the news. Tracking terrorist attacks and groups is a full-time job, however. Thankfully, there is the Global Terrorism Index (GTI), issued annually by the Institute for Economics and Peace, a Sydney-based thinktank. Borealis talks to the Americas Director about the 2025 report.
