To say that Canada-China relations have been rocky would be putting it mildly. From the heyday of the first Trudeau (Pierre) to the depths of the PRC's kidnapping of two Canadians several years ago, it has not been an easy road. Furthermore, China has been caught spying in Canada, trying to affect our elections and stealing sensitive technology. And yet, the current Liberal government wants to 'reset' our ties to that nation. Why? What are the implications. I am rejoined by Margaret McCuaig-Johnston to look at these issues.
