Dr Rebecca Payne

Dr Rebecca Payne, is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Bangor University. Her research focuses on digital health innovations and the implications of remote consulting for patient safety, and healthcare quality, particularly in remote and rural contexts. Before coming to Bangor, she was an NIHR-In practice Fellow at Oxford University where she led the quality and safety themes of the Remote by Default 2 project.

Rebecca is also a Clarendon-Reuben Scholar at Oxford University, a Churchill Fellow and Honorary Researcher-in-Residence at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. She also a member of the Scientific Board of EURIPA and Associate Editor for the Journal of Health Services Research and Policy.
