Show Notes

A few weeks ago we put a question box up on our stories for some things to discuss on the pod. We got a some great suggestions for episodes but really wanted to delve in and discuss these more specific questions so we've popped them all in one ep for you (and us)! Are any of these questions yours? Are you going through anything similar? And what do you think of these listener question eps, should we keep them coming? Happy listening and we look forward to hearing your thoughts x

  Episode breakdown:

·     Mother, Unrefined moments - wrong names ans some snakes

·     Need some advice - my husband’s mum has been living with us for the past 18 months and my husband and her have just had a huge relationship breakdown. We have three kids (one newborn) and were set to move to acreage in the new year (with his mum). She is no longer coming with us and I am freaking out about the year ahead. How am I going to manage 3 kids, our mortgage in this new economy and have no family living nearby for support. Can you provide any tips on doing things alone (grocery shopping - do you do grocery shopping once per week and meal plan?

·    My three year old has recently had a massive change in his personality. He used to be the sweetest little boy but over the past few weeks has completely changed. Huge tantrums, running away from us in public, biting us and now hitting. Have you experienced this with your children?

·     My husband and I are in a really bad place right now. We have constant arguments and feel as if we’re headed for divorce. All i can think about is the damage i’m going to do to my children. Then I also wonder whether our fighting is normal and whether counselling could help. Do you have any tips for relationships with kids? Do you see a counselor or ever think about leaving your partner?

·    I need help finding my libido. Any tips? Mine was much higher than my partner’s in the early days and even last trimester of pregnancy but now I cringe at the thought of it! My partner is fine, he doesn’t pressure me at all but I can see he sometimes takes it personally.
