Michoel Brooke

Welcome to The Motivation Congregation! My name is Michoel Brooke, and I was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. I studied for three years in Rabbi Nosson Stein's Yeshiva in Lakewood, New Jersey. Afterward, I learned under Rabbi Yosef Elephant of the Mir Yeshiva in Yerushalayim.

I produce and distribute two types of podcasts. "The Motivation Congregation" is a daily Torah talk focusing on inspiration, motivation, and ethical teachings ("Mussar"). "The Torah Podcast" is a weekly online Torah talk about the week's parsha.

My approach (derived from The Legacy of Slabodka by Rav Reuven Grossman) is to both encourage and reproach with love for all Jews. I promote the in-depth analysis of personal Hashkafa and seek avenues for practical application. In the true spirit of Slabodka, I strive to examine everything in one's life from the point of view of truth.

Welcome to the family. I'm glad you're here!
