Claire Mawisa

Claire Mawisa is a South African television presenter, journalist, model and radio personality best known for being an SABC1 continuity presenter from 1999 to 2001, as well as co-hosting the SABC1 music variety show One from 2002-2003. After many years working in radio and television, and opening her own business, Claire joined the Carte Blanche team in 2015.

Derek Watts has been a journalist for over 30 years, presenting on South African television since 1985 as a sports anchor. Derek has become a household name, anchoring and presenting on Carte Blanche on M-Net channel 101 since the television programme's inception in 1988.

Macfarlane Moleli

Macfarlane Moleli has over 18 years’ experience as a journalist in the media and entertainment industry. Recently he worked at Kaya FM, eNCA, and SABC 3. Well-versed in in-depth interviews on current affairs, contentious issues in politics, business, sports, and environmental issues, Macfarlane brought his presenting skills to Carte Blanche in 2017.

Masa Kekana

Masa Kekana is a South African journalist who has worked at one of the country’s leading news agencies, Eyewitness News (EWN), servicing four major radio stations namely Talk Radio 702, Cape Talk, Kfm and 94.7. Masa has criss-crossed the country covering stories of national and global importance. She has been featured several times on BBC News in London for some of her headline stories such as Rhodes Must Fall. Joburgers are familiar with her voice not only for her top stories as a reporter on the ground but as the news anchor on 94.7's weekend breakfast show. Masa became the newest addition to the Carte Blanche family in 2019.
