Build Your Happier Marriage
A happy marriage is what every married couple wants. They want to feel loved, supported, heard, respected, and desired.
This does not mean a perfect marriage; a marriage that doesn't have problems.
No!
But it's one where you feel safe, secure, and satisfied. Right? How to get there is the challenge.
And this is where I, Kingsley Grant, come in.
I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Relationship Coach, and Communication Expert, and has been married for almost four decades.
I believe a happier marriage results from you and your spouse committing to creating an emotionally safe space as the starting point and then building toward a happier marriage.
This happier marriage is possible using a scientific and Christian-based healing approach. This may involve marriage counseling, coaching, or live or virtual conferences.
The ultimate goal is to Make Marriages Happier Again. Let's eradicate unhappiness from marriages globally!

BYHM163 | Why Modern Wives Think Loyalty Is Stupid
In this episode of Build Your Happier Marriage, I react to a viral clip of a woman claiming that staying loyal to your husband during hard times doesn’t make you supportive — it makes you “stupid.”
This kind of so-called “wisdom” has been spreading through TikTok and YouTube, feeding wives a dangerous narrative: that loyalty is weakness, that respect is outdated, and that marriage is nothing more than a transactional exchange.
But here’s the truth — this thinking isn’t just misguided. It’s destructive. If wives buy into it, marriages collapse under the weight of selfishness and mistrust.
Instead, God’s design for marriage calls for loyalty, respect, sacrifice, and service. In this episode, Kingsley unpacks why supporting your husband through challenges isn’t foolish — it’s biblical. And it’s one of the most powerful ways to build a marriage that lasts.
❌ The Problem
We live in a culture that glorifies independence but ridicules interdependence. Loyalty is called weakness. Service is labeled slavery. And standing by your man through struggles? Some now call it “dumb.”
But this narrative ignores the heart of God’s design. The Bible says:
“Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
When wives (and husbands) are told to abandon their marriage instead of building it, families crumble. And generations pay the price.
✅ What You’ll Learn in This Episode
- Why modern “advice” about marriage is actually poison in disguise.
- How respect, loyalty, and sacrifice are not optional in marriage — they are oxygen.
- Why God’s blueprint is still the most effective path for building a strong family.
- What wives of entrepreneurial husbands can do to support without “fixing” their men.
- How to resist cultural lies and embrace biblical truth for a lasting, joyful marriage.
📖 Scripture Foundation
- Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 — Loyalty means lifting each other up, not walking away.
- Galatians 5:13 — “Serve one another humbly in love.” Service is not slavery, it’s strength.
- Ephesians 5:33 — Respect isn’t optional. It’s God’s command and a husband’s fuel.
💡 Key Takeaway
Standing by your husband in hard times doesn’t make you foolish. It makes you faithful.
And faithfulness is the foundation God blesses.
