Welcome to a shamanic healing breathwork journey. This type of experience will include somatic and holotropic breathwork, chakra activating music, live drumming, and is intended for profound somatic healing. This type of experience is more than a meditation. This type of experience will elicit very strong emotional responses, physical changes in the mind and responses in the body, releasing of stagnant, stuck emotion, reprocessing trauma and connection to the spirit world. If you choose to partake in this experience, there are some conditions that it is deemed not safe to experiences at this time. That includes if you are actively pregnant or possibly pregnant, if you have any type of epileptic condition, possibly pregnant, if you have any type of epileptic condition, if you have any type of defibrillator or pacemaker or any type of respiratory condition that breathing in and out cyclically could induce some type of negative reaction. Please refrain from this type of experience. If you want to move forward with this, I'm going to provide some instruction as to how this experience will go so that you can best prepare to have the ultimate outcome that you desire. So this experience will begin in a moment with a recorded drum meditation. It's just to help you relax, set an intention for your personal healing and then, after the meditation, an extensive playlist of seven songs meant to activate each main chakra point will begin to play. It's best that you listen to this entire meditation and experience on either headphones or an external bluetooth or external speaker where you can adjust the volume. Please make sure that as you prepare for this journey, you are in a quiet, safe space, either laying on the floor on a comfortable mat with pillows and blankets and bolsters for your knees or pillows under your knees, or lying on a bed. Please make sure that there is nothing around you, as some of this music may activate you and you may want to get up and move. Please ensure that there is nothing on the walls or around you that could be a hazard or cause you to hurt yourself or fall. Ensure that you have an eye mask or maintain your eyes closed throughout the whole session. Please make sure that there are no distractions or anyone or anything that would make you have to stop the music at any time.
Speaker 1:The breath work that you will be doing is entirely up to you. I am going to demonstrate a few of the different types of breath work that can be utilized throughout this session. You can utilize them all or only one. There's no right or wrong way. It's whatever feels good and natural to you.
Speaker 1:The first type of breath that you can do, especially at the beginning, is a somatic style of breathing, simple as breathing in through the nose, filling your belly and letting it go. It looks like this, like this, and you can speed it up as the music goes on, to have it look like this Whatever is comfortable for you, naturally, let your body breathe like that. Another form of breath work can be holotropic. This one is a little bit faster pace and more intensive. It does require you to engage your abdominals in your core area. That looks like this. It's very similar to a k Kundalini breath of fire. Just make sure you're not hyperventilating in the chest, but you do have to engage your abdominals if you do that type of breath.
Speaker 1:My favorite style of breathing is a combination of both, which is called a shamanic breath, and it looks like this we're still engaging the abdominals, but we're breathing in through the nose and forcefully breathing out through the mouth. Whatever you feel like doing, just follow what your intuition and what your body is telling you. So if you're ready to begin, I would like for you to lie down in a comfortable position, put on your eye mask and the volume is set to as high as possible. This is a very sensory experience and when I begin the drumming meditation, I would like for you to just begin to breathe. And my friend, breathe until you are surprised.
Speaker 1:Welcome, my friends, to your shamanic healing journey, meditation. I invite you to lie back in a comfortable position, put your eye mask or close your eyes and begin to breathe. As we breathe, we are calling in our protection from our angelic host. We are calling in our team of lights, our spirit guides, our ancestors and any and all beings that are here for our highest and greatest good, to love you, to support you and to guide you along the journey. We are also going to call in the spirits of the four directions, out of reverence and respect for this ceremony, so that they may come and invigorate you, challenge you, push you, that they may come and invigorate you, challenge you, push you and begin the spiral path of healing, of transformation that starts with you, with your intention, with your breath. So breathe, my friend, breathe in the way that feels natural to you, breathe until you are surprised and then continue to breathe.
Speaker 1:I call in the spirit of the south great serpent, come and be with us, wrap your coils of light around us, allow us the ability to shed our skin very much like you do, so that we may continue along our journey, letting go of old identities, of old ways of being, of the pain and the hurt that still tries to overpower us, the negative emotional attachments to trauma and grief, and to find forgiveness within ourselves and others. Aho, great Spirit of the West Jaguar, come and walk around our sacred fire. Oh, fearless spirit, come, give us the strength to be like warriors, to take action when we need to, and to take pause and ready ourselves for when the time comes, to take all preparations needed. And on our journey, today, in this moment, allow us to step into this experience all in a whole. Great spirit of the north sweetbird, come and flutter around us, feed us your sweet nectar of joy and happiness. Open our inner child. Oh, the great woundings that we may have, please lift them up, help us to transform them, reframe them, shift them so that we can continue to walk free.
Speaker 1:Aho, great spirit of the east condor eagle, fly high above us. Give us your vision, eagle vision. Activate our intuition, open our subconscious and allow us to understand our truth that is only for us, unique to us, so that the things we may see, hear and feel are very valid and real. Protect us, fly above us along our journey and show us the way. Pachamama, mother Earth, we thank you for the spirits that you have brought, thank you for grounding us, thank you for loving us, thank you for taking us into your womb so that we may feel safe as we journey, as our souls may travel into the greater dimensions. Aho, thank you, father, son and Grandmother Moon and our cousins in the stars and our friends of the various galactic families. We call upon you come and be with us, journey with us, help us to propel ourselves forward home.
Speaker 1:My friend, breathe, relax your body, start with your feet, ground them into the earth. Feel Pachamama rise up and carry you into her womb, cradling you. You are loved and safe here. Feel your legs relax, hips, low back, mid back, upper back. Your hands, forearms, upper arms, shoulders, the back of your neck, the front of your neck, your face, the back of your head, side of your head, top of your head and front of your head. You are deeper and deeper in that relaxation in your breath. Work from your head down to your toes and, when you are ready. Go all in Journey.
