Off the Fence

Three Trans-Atlantic Observers discuss every two weeks Markets, Society and other entertaining absurdities. The American educator Alfred Whitney Griswold said, “The only sure weapon against bad ideas is good ideas.” With that in mind, we’ve launched this Podcast OFF THE FENCE. Every two weeks, we’ll get together and take a look at a subject we think we may know something about, try to separate the wheat from the chaff and maybe even come up with some practical, compelling conclusions. We don’t expect to change the world but do hope to change some minds. We’ll keep it direct and clean, with fact-based analysis and opinions and no swearing. We hope you enjoy it.

My name is Peter Greiff. I’m from the U.S. East Coast but have been living in Europe for more than 30 years and Spain for 20. I’ve been a journalist and communications guy in five countries on three continents. I don’t know as much about finance and markets as the other two guys on this podcast, but I can generally put two and two together, ask the right questions and occasionally get a right answer.
