Ciera welcomes physical therapist-developed program creator Camille to explore the misunderstood world of postpartum recovery and body confidence. With raw honesty, Camille shares how her personal struggle with persistent "mommy tummy" led to a life-changing revelation: nearly one-third of mothers unknowingly suffer from diastasis recti (abdominal separation), and conventional ab workouts like crunches and planks actually worsen this condition rather than improve it.

Through her husband Jared's expertise as a doctor of physical therapy, Camille discovered that healing required a fundamentally different approach—specialized rehabilitation exercises targeting the deep core muscles rather than superficial "six-pack" muscles. What began as her personal journey transformed into the Mommy Tummy Fix program, helping thousands of women understand their bodies weren't "broken," just in need of proper rehabilitation.

The conversation dives deep into why traditional fitness advice fails postpartum women, exploring how the program combines gentle core rehab, low-impact cardio that doesn't stress hormones, and simple nutrition habits anyone can maintain. Most powerfully, Camille reflects on her surprising discovery that true confidence never came from achieving a certain size or weight, but from appreciating her body's capabilities and treating herself with the same grace she extends to others.

Whether you're recently postpartum or decades beyond childbirth, this episode offers practical wisdom for reconnecting with your body and rebuilding confidence from the inside out. Camille's closing story about a 74-year-old grandmother healing her decades-old diastasis recti proves it's never too late to address these common but rarely discussed postpartum challenges. Ciera:

Welcome back to the podcast. I am so excited for today's guest. It is somebody that I have admired and looked up to for a very long time, someone that I have actually followed her program and seen great success. I started using her program back when it was like paper. It was either after my first or second baby. So seven, nine years since I've been using her program and I love it. I've used it after every baby and all the in-between, because it doesn't matter how long you are postpartum If you are a postpartum mom, her program is going to be amazing for you. So I love her.

Ciera:

I think she is a really good example of spreading positivity and confidence in motherhood and really, really practical motherhood thing. Her advice is stuff that busy, busy moms can use every single day and they don't have to beat themselves up for not fulfilling something that they are wanting. They can check something off their box that is simple and easy to fulfill. Here is my interview with Camille. I am so excited for you to hear it. Let's listen. I'm so excited to have you on the podcast. For those of our listeners who are not familiar with you, can you tell us a little about you and your husband and your Mommy? Tummy Fix program.

Camille:

I have been married to my husband, jared, for 21 years. I feel like we have been going at this for a long time. We have four awesome kids and they are my top priority my family. We love to be together, we love making memories together. Just my favorite things in life revolve around them. So family is number one for us. But yes, together, jared and I my husband created the Mommy Tummy Fix, and it's a health and fitness program. My husband is a doctor of physical therapy. That's what he went to school for, that's what he does for his day job. And this program is specifically for moms who are struggling with a mommy tummy, or that's what it's referred to.

Camille:

I have I'm doing quotations with my fingers right now because that's what so many moms call it Like oh, I just have this pooch that remains after I have kids, and it's actually caused by a condition called diastasis recti or, in another way to put it, is an ab separation in your core. And what is so crazy is that one third of all moms have this condition and most of them don't even know it. They don't know that this is an actual thing and they just think that after having babies, it's normal that you just have this lingering tummy that sticks around. But for most women it's actually undiagnosed diastasis recti and that just means while you were pregnant, your ab muscles separated and they weren't able to come back together on their own. Now for two thirds of women it does come back together on their own. Now, for two thirds of women it does come back together on its own, but for that remaining one third of us it's going to actually take some rehab.

Camille:

And after having four babies myself, I was in my mid thirties after my fourth baby and, um, I was just so frustrated because, no matter how hard I worked out, my tummy just wouldn't go away and no matter how many crunches and planks and burpees and HIIT workouts I would do to like burn calories, little did I know I actually had diastasis recti, this ab separation, and the things that I was doing were actually making it worse. And I know it's funny. I live with a doctor of physical therapy and he suspected that I had this condition. But you know how sometimes you just don't want to take advice from your spouse, like you want to figure it out yourself and I thought I know how to lose weight, I knew how to do ab exercises, and so I was just like determined to do it on my own. But it came to a point where I just told Jared, look, I need your help, like what I'm doing isn't working. And he was like, can I just see if you have this condition? And I was like, sure. And so he had me lay on the ground and he showed me how to check for diastasis recti. And we actually made a YouTube video of this of me that very day that I came to him and said I need some help. And he's like can I film this? And I'm like, yeah, whatever, you're a YouTuber, that's fine. And he's like, can I film this? And I'm like, yeah, whatever, you're a YouTuber, that's fine.

Camille:

But little did I know. It was the beginning of the Mommy Tell Me Fix program and so he checked. I had a three-finger ab separation and he was like, look, I know how to do this, I know how to fix this, I know how to treat it. He's like, but you have to do what I say, and sometimes you don't want to do what your husband's telling you to do. But he wrote down all the things and demonstrated all the exercises that I needed to do and they seemed so simple, they seemed so easy. I thought I needed to do hardcore planks and crunches and mountain climbers until I was blue in the face and just sweating profusely. And he had to remind me over and over again that these are actually rehab exercises. It's not a workout.

Camille:

And when I kind of made that shift in my brain, that's when it made all the difference. I was actually learning how to rehab my body after having four babies, after all the growing and expanding and stretching and saggy skin and stretch marks, like I needed to do some things to take care of my body. And so he ran me through his program, a protocol that he runs all his patients through that come in with this diastasis recti. And he just kept saying is it okay if I film this? Is it okay if I film this? Is it okay if we take pictures of this? And we kind of filmed my journey and shared it.

Camille:

And that's how the Mommy Tummy Fix was born. Jared wanted to take physical therapy to the masses to be able to offer this to moms who maybe don't have time to go to physical therapy or their insurance doesn't cover it or it's just too expensive. And so that's what the Mommy Tell Me Fix program is. It focuses on safe core rehab, fat burning, cardio and then simple nutrition, and it's different than anything else that I had ever done, but it was what made the changes for me, and so that's when I got on board and said, okay, let's do this, and the Mommy, tummy Fix was born, so how many years ago was that that you both started this program?

Camille:

So it was in April 2019. I started doing the program in 2018. And that's when we started like playing around with it. I had my last kid in 2017, came to Jared in 2018, ran me through the program. I saw all the changes and then he's like, okay, I am going to take this to the world, we are going to share this with moms who need it, and so 2019 is when we launched it.

Ciera:

That's crazy. So I was trying to remember, because I was back in the day when you guys were like printed out on paper your program and I was trying to remember it was after my first baby or after my second baby, and it was after my second baby.

Ciera:

Oh my gosh she was born in 2018. So I probably started in 2019 2020. And yeah, I like printed it out. I still have the papers oh my gosh, still have it. And then I had moved to your app after I had my third baby and I still do all of your YouTube videos. I love it, oh my gosh.

Camille:

You are the best, and isn't it fascinating Like you came back to it after your next baby?

Ciera:

Yeah, because you work baby later. I'm still doing it, I love it.

Camille:

Yes, it just is learning how to take care of yourself in a different way. After having babies, so much changes. We know how much our bodies change and so, yes, it's a whole new world.

Ciera:

And, like you said, I was surprised at how simple it was. Like I mean, it wasn't necessarily easy because, like I was still rehabbing and like I could still feel, like my core was still sore the next day, like oh my gosh yes. But I was like this is not rocket science, like this is not complicated. So isn't it funny, it is, can you kind of? I mean you kind of alluded to it already. But what? How is this program so much different than other postpartum programs that are out there?

Camille:

Well, if you jump on YouTube and you Google ab workouts or even ab workouts for women, you're going to get some really intense moves of just some crazy jackknifes and jumping planks and these moves that they do leave your six-pack muscles feeling sore, because that's what it focuses on. But what the Mommy Tell Me Fix focuses on is a couple of different layers of muscles that you have in your body, because we are focusing on the deep core, the entire core, which is made up of like 29 different muscles or something like all these different parts that play into it. And many times the ab workouts that you find just focus on those six pack muscles right in the front. But we're going to address the entire core. So a lot of our exercises focus on the transverse abdominus, that muscle that starts in the back of your spine and wraps all the way around to the front. We're going to focus on our obliques internally and externally and we're going to hit all of those things along with your six pack muscles, but we're going to work it all together at the same time. So that's the first is that deep core rehab of just teaching your muscles to come back together after being expanded to new sizes during pregnancy.

Camille:

And then we take a more holistic approach when it comes to taking care of yourself. We use low impact cardio or low impact workouts and that burn fat effectively without putting stress on your body. Your hormones, after you have kids, are already all over the place, and then, as we get older, our hormones change again, and the workouts that we focus on in our program do help you burn fat without putting that extra stress on your body, without causing that spike in cortisol causing your hormones to go even more squampus. And so we couple the rehab with the fat burning workouts, and then we just focus on simple nutrition, and what we mean by that is, instead of telling you okay, you're going to eat this many calories and you've got to hit this macro account and you've got to eat these recipes and nothing else, instead we say let's just focus on healthy choices.

Camille:

Today, we're going to eat five servings of fruits and veggies. Get more fruits and veggies in, add an extra one at every meal. Today we're going to focus on drinking water. Drink more water, find ways to cut back on soda and add more water to the things you're drinking. We just have these habits that we learn to incorporate into our lives, so it's not some restricting diet, it's not something where we're focusing on deprivation, but instead we're just focusing on these small sustainable shifts that you can incorporate into your life, that feel good and that feel doable, and we just put an emphasis on small daily choices really do add up. And then on top of that, we do tap into the mental health a little bit, because confidence isn't just about a flatter belly, it's not about just losing that mommy tummy, but it's about how you feel in your body and how you feel in your life and how you're handling your life.

Ciera:

Definitely I love all of that because it's so. There's such like little changes, simple changes that you can make that will have a huge impact. But if you miss one one day, it's not like, oh my gosh, I'm a failure, like I didn't do it, I didn't get my 45 minute workout in, or whatever, like it's not going to attack your confidence or make you feel less about yourself, which I love.

Camille:

Exactly so many moms struggle with that all or nothing mindset. Like you just said, I didn't work out for 45 minutes today, like I'm thinking what mom has 45 minutes that she can dedicate to just working out? I'm lucky if I get 10 minutes in the morning and a 10 minute walk to pick up my elementary school kids and a five minute walk, as I, you know, go talk to my neighbor across the street, like that's real life and that's mom life. And so I think, when we recognize that you know what every minute of movement counts and and it doesn't have to look a certain way and it doesn't have to be perfect, but it's just doing the best that you can every day, and it doesn't have to look a certain way and it doesn't have to be perfect, but it's just doing the best that you can every day and that's enough.

Ciera:

Yeah, definitely. So what are some of the biggest misconceptions that you find that moms have about how their body should be after pregnancy, especially when it comes to their tummy? Do you find that there's a pattern in what people feel like about their tummy?

Camille:

Yeah, absolutely. It's so interesting when women first learn about our program or start our program because they are used to these ab workouts that they have to, that are pretty intense and that they are doing pretty insane stuff. And the biggest misconception that not only I had but that I've seen so many other moms have is that you need to do more planks, you need to do more crunches, you need to burn more calories in order to lose weight and to look a certain way. And it's so interesting when they join our program and we kind of just dial it back and we just say, hey, let's slow things down, let's do a slower, more intentional exercise with our low impact workouts. Let's do some deep core rehab instead of crunching our body away for 500 crunches, like we just focus more on slowing it down a little bit and helping moms realize that you can do gentle, intentional exercises that are actually going to help, more than pushing yourself to these limits that are unrealistic, especially when you're a mom and especially if you've had a baby in the last few years.

Ciera:

There's a lot of advice out there about like body image after pregnancy and like. One of the things that I often hear is just be grateful for the body that made that carried your baby. Be grateful because this body is what like gave you your baby, which is so true. But do you have any other advice that can maybe help moms with that mindset of like recognizing their body after pregnancy and like being grateful for it, but like not damaging their confidence, like as they're looking at their body? Does that make sense?

Camille:

Absolutely yeah. And it's so funny because we say those things and we hear those things like, oh, I should just focus on what my body did and be grateful for that. And it's like, yeah, that sounds really nice. But when I'm looking at the mirror at my body, and it looks nothing like it used to after having a baby, or it looks nothing like the bodies that I see on social media or the moms who are just crushing it in the gym, and I'm like what is wrong with me? What is wrong with me and for me and I'm just going to speak for what has really helped me and how I've kind of worked through it myself I really kind of had to tap in more to the spiritual side of my body and recognize that my body is actually such a gift.

Camille:

Recognize that my body is actually such a gift and I don't know what higher power or God or anything that the listeners believe in or that you believe in, but, like for me, I believe that my body is a gift from God and he's given it to me to not only take care of it but also learn how to take care of it, and it kind of given me the stewardship over this body and my job is to honor and respect this gift that I've been given and that means learning how to take care of it in every season of my life and, like right now, I'm in my forties, I'm entering this new season of changing hormones and perimenopause and all of these things, and I've had to change how I take care of my body again.

Camille:

And it can be frustrating sometimes because the things that I was doing even two years ago, aren't working and I need to switch it a little bit to work better with my hormones. And and even that, I'd sometimes get so frustrated because I'm looking in the mirror going, oh, my body is not what it was two years ago, but then recognizing what a gift, what a gift that I have this body that works, and what a gift that I get to learn how to take care of it, and it kind of becomes like not an experiment, but almost like, oh, I'm going to try out some things, I'm going to get curious about the best way to take care of my body, and when I look at it from that angle, I feel like it creates more compassion and kindness instead of criticism.

Ciera:

Yeah, I love that idea of getting curious about how you can take care of your body and you know we are interested with these bodies and like and not everyone's body I feel like is going to be like a one-size-fits-all answer on how to take care of it.

Ciera:

There's good guidelines, I think, for everyone. But yeah, like you said, your body two years ago isn't the same as your body now and so just treating it as more of like a um, like, like you said, not an experiment, but kind of an experiment, like you know, just trying to figure things out, I really like that mindset. That's really good. So if a mom listening feels like they're discouraged about their body, their confidence, what's one thing that they could do today that would help them to feel better about themselves?

Camille:

Something that we always say in our Mommy Tell Me Fix program. We've got a community in the app and, as more moms have joined, we've been having some good discussions lately. But one of my favorite things is to give yourself grace. As moms, we are so good at dishing out grace to everyone around us to our kids, to our spouse, to our partner, to our friends, to the neighbors. We just we cut everybody a break and we give them grace, and we're just naturally so good at that as moms, except when it comes to ourselves. And so we've been having a discussion lately about what does it look like to give yourself grace as a mom? What does it look like to give yourself grace as a woman, as a daughter, as a wife, and it's really interesting.

Camille:

We have one mom in our program who just finished some cancer treatments and going through that and it was really interesting because she she did the program, she lost weight, she was able to heal her diastasis recti and she was like just crushing her life. And then she was diagnosed with breast cancer and she stayed in the program because she's like I just I need you guys around me like cheering me on. She was so tired from doing chemotherapy and she didn't have the energy to do things that she used to do. And she her eating kind of fell, fell off. She was like I was just eating whatever sounded good and usually it wasn't things that were good for me and, um, she wasn't able to work out like she used to. She used to go on walks and she had gotten to the point where she was walking five miles a day and now she couldn't even have enough energy to get out the door. And um, she said I was looking in the mirror at myself and as I was going through these cancer treatments, and I was just so disappointed.

Camille:

And then she's like, and then it popped into my head Give yourself grace, give yourself grace in this season, give yourself understanding and love like you do for everybody else. And it just shifted in her mind like, oh, this is what we talk about. This is a season where I really have to give myself some grace and recognize it's not always going to be like this, but for the time that it is, I'm just going to be really kind to myself and I think if you can start to have that conversation with yourself and it's really hard if you are especially not talking very kindly to yourself to suddenly start talking kindly, but it's baby steps. Maybe say something that's neutral to yourself in the middle and work towards saying something kind. Work towards being able to give yourself that grace that you need and deserve from yourself.

Ciera:

That's beautiful and I love that you have that community within your app.

Ciera:

How amazing is that that she is going through this hard thing in her life and she has this band of women supporting her like that.

Ciera:

So I saw a reel today and I wish I could remember who posted it, but it was something like that about giving yourself grace, like it was like a clip of her I think she was like crying on the couch or something and then there was another clip of her at the gym, like totally crushing it.

Ciera:

Then there was another clip of her playing with her kids and then another clip of her doing something else and they were like highs and lows kinds of yeah, but it said that this is me doing my best, and so basically the point of it was like your best can be like when you're on the couch, like, and you don't can't get like. When you're on the couch, like and you don't can't get up, like you're just having a hard day, that's your best for that day. But then you're like with your kids and you're playing and you're like totally mom mode, like 100%, that's also your best. Just whatever your day looks like can be your best, which I thought was like really beautiful, and so it goes along with what you were saying about grace.

Camille:

So it goes along with what you were saying about grace. I love that because I think sometimes we expect that we have to be at that crazy high level all the time, that that is the best if we can be up at the top. But that's not realistic. That's not how our bodies are made. I mean, we literally have a 28-day cycle highs and lows and it's built into who we are as women Like we are going to have different bests for every day. And when you start to recognize that and understand that and also give yourself grace, that on those days where it's a couch day and I need to, I need to rest and I need some downtime, perfect, that's your best for today and that's enough.

Ciera:

I love that. Everyone has their own version of confidence and their own idea of what confidently beautiful is. What is your idea of what a confidently beautiful woman?

Camille:

is. You know, it's so fascinating. I always thought if my body looked a certain way, that I would be confident, and if I was a certain number on the scale, that I would be not only confident but happy too. And it's so funny because I've had seasons in my life where I have gotten down to a certain size or certain weight and my body's looked a certain way and I can tell you that is not where confidence comes from. It's also not where happiness comes from. In fact, it was at some of the lowest points in my life and also the least confident points in my life and also the least confident points in my life. And so it was so interesting because I remember one day there was a season in my life where I followed some crazy diet trends to lose weight really fast, really drastically.

Camille:

This was long before the mommy tummy fix and, like, I loved the size that I was at, but the side effects were horrendous. I was so tired, I had acne all over my face because I was not getting nutrients. I was dehydrated because I was not drinking water, because I thought, well, that's water weight. That's how messed up I was. And honestly, I was depressed. And even though I was a certain size, I still didn't feel like I looked good and it just I still remember one day thinking, huh, I thought this is what would make me feel confident, I thought this is what would make me feel happy and and it wasn't. And it was this realization of that's not where confidence comes from. It's not a body size, and so I've learned. It's a feeling for me, a feeling of strength, a feeling of being capable. I had no energy when I wasn't eating and fueling my body in a way that it was doing more damage than good, and I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin.

Camille:

My world revolved around calorie counting and the mindset issues with that, and I exercised only because I almost saw it as a punishment for how my body looked and how it was, and because I didn't like it and I just had to make those big shifts and I had to learn that confidence really did come from appreciating what my body could do at any size and learning to see my body as a gift at any size.

Camille:

I love that I can keep up with my kids. I love that I can carry my kids even as my kids are getting bigger, like I'm strong. I'm a strong mom and I love that I'm taking care of my body in a way that gives me strength and energy to do that. I love that because I'm fueling my body. In a way my body loves that acne cleared up. No mom wants acne, like that's supposed to be a teenager problem, but it was a very real thing for me because I wasn't fueling my body. And, anyways, when I learned how to take care of my body and show up for myself in that way, that's where my confidence came from and that's where my body confidence really took off.

Ciera:

Thank you for sharing that. I think a lot of listeners can probably relate to that.

Camille:

I know so many moms are stuck in that place because I was there and I was there for so long, and I feel like that's why I have to share the things that I share so that hopefully I can help some mom get out of that same abyss that I was in.

Ciera:

Yeah, yeah. What is one thing you try and do every day to help your confidence grow, even just a little bit?

Camille:

I have learned the thing that I need to do for me every day is show up for myself somehow some way every day, and that means some time away from my kids just doing something for me, time away from my kids just doing something for me. And it sounds so silly and it sounds so simple, but it can be just a five minute walk. When my kids were really little and Jared was in physical therapy school, he would be gone all day and he'd get home so late at night and I'd already have the kids fed and in bed and he would come through the door and be like I'm home and I'm like great, I'm leaving to go on a walk because I need some me time. And that was even like 15 years ago, let's see, yeah, 15 years ago, more than that, like 17 years ago, and I've been doing it ever since.

Camille:

I just need a couple of minutes just for me to reconnect with me and it just helps in every aspect of my life and helps me to show up as a better wife and a better mom. And I can't always get away for a walk, but I can always find five minutes alone in my closet to read a book for five pages of a book. Or I've even hid in the bathroom before and locked the door and just read a book on my phone even I took it in there with me. Just little things that I do to just kind of catch my breath, reconnect with myself, so I can go back out and face the world and take it all on. And that's what I do for myself every day.

Ciera:

I love that. That's good advice, thank you. It's so fun to hear what everyone does. Everyone's is different and I love it so fun. Well, can you give? Are there some? You have your YouTube channel, but are there any resources that listeners can go and find more about you and learn more about how they can improve their body confidence and feel good about themselves?

Camille:

and feel good about themselves, absolutely. So our YouTube channel is where you will find the workouts and things that introduce you to diastasis recti, even like tests that you can do on yourself in like 60 seconds to check and see if you have this ab separation condition. And what's fascinating, too, is you might not even have an actual muscle ab muscle separation but you just might have a weak core, and these exercises, these rehab exercises, will also help with that. So not only like a pooch or a belly that remains after having a baby, but any type of core weakness. These are the rehab exercises you do. So you'll find them on our YouTube channel. Also, moms that have low back pain that's a sign of diastasis recti or a weak core. So these exercises will also help you as well.

Camille:

Um, and then if you go over to our website, mommy, tell me fixcom, you can try the app for free for seven days. We just barely, we totally revamped it. We relaunched it about six or seven weeks ago. We just made it more beautiful, more easy to use, added more workouts, more recipes, more coaching calls, just more resources to help you on your journey, and so that's fun. Um, so you can try it free for seven days. Mommy tell me fixcom.

Camille:

Also on the mommy tell me fixcom, there's a free 14 day core challenge. If you want to kind of try it out, see what this mommy tell me fix program would be like. It's just the core rehab exercises so you can do that for two weeks. We also have, um uh, 10,000 steps a day challenge. That's free. That just helps you get into a routine of moving and you can get those steps while you vacuum and while you mop and while you clean up your house like mom life. That's just helping you be more intentional about moving throughout the day. So there's a lot of different things going on. Plus, you can find us on Instagram, tiktok, facebook and then we also have a podcast as well.

Ciera:

I love that what's?

Camille:

your podcast called. So it's called Moms on the Rise and it kind of leans into more of the mental side, just taking care of yourself as a mom, and so we've got you covered between the physical and the mental, and we tap into the emotional stuff with our coaching. So we've got you covered. I love it. You need all of it.

Ciera:

So I know all of it.

Camille:

We deserve all of it. Yes.

Ciera:

Well, it sounds like you have so many free resources. I know that even the paid stuff is like under, like you don't charge enough for what, for what you get, like it is so good, so I will include my affiliate code in the show notes. But yes, it can. All of your stuff is amazing, so I'll include links to everything, the freebies and all of that that you listeners can go and grab. Can you quickly, just before we go, can you just tell us about your 75 Rise program?

Camille:

Yes, so this is something that I've shared on the podcast because, like I said, it kind of leans into more of the mental side of things. But 75 Rise came from the idea of 75 hard. Have you seen that challenge around TikTok and where for 75 days you follow this protocol perfectly and then if you mess up, you have to start your 75 days over? And so many people were doing it online and they were seeing success. But that was because it was so strict and it was so time consuming and it was all life encompassing, like it took over your life for 75 days, and it was a really good like mental exercise.

Camille:

I would say like how well can you stick to something perfectly? But what they were finding is that the mental side effects of that were so damaging, especially for moms, because moms their lives vary from day to day. You might have a sick kid, you might have to run your kid to run their paper to them at school, you might have an extra carpool thrown in that you can't do that second workout of the day because, yes, there are two workouts required every day in 75 hard. It's crazy, right, it's not realistic.

Ciera:

Sometimes I can't get five minutes, so yeah.

Camille:

And you have to do two 45 minute workouts spread throughout your day, like it's just not happening. And what's so funny is, when I saw this challenge arise, I thought, oh, I am doing that. That is going to be a really good way to test my ability to commit. And I did it for like two days and then one of my kids got sick, and then we went on vacation and then I had a busy time at work, a busy season at work, and I was like, okay, never mind, this is not working for me. And I started it so many times and quit so many times and I thought there's got to be a different way, because I like the habits that it teaches you to incorporate, but I didn't like that it required perfection, because that's not realistic and it teaches you that it has to be everything or nothing at all. And so I thought there's got to be a better way to do it and I thought what if I just start with one habit and for one week I focus on this one habit, and then, by week two, I'll add on a second habit, and then, week three, I'll add on another little habit? And these habits were little. And then I got to week four and it was a crazy week and I was like, okay, I'm not adding anything on. And I was talking to a therapist about this and she was like, actually, that is a really good way to stay committed to something is to take weeks where you just kind of stay where you're at, catch your breath and then keep going on. And so I worked those into my 75 days of working on these habits.

Camille:

Anyways, by the end of 75 days I had incorporated these eight habits into my life and I was crushing them every day because I did it at a cadence that felt right to me and I did it at a cadence that worked for my mom life and also didn't punish me if I didn't do it perfectly. And so I was talking to some of my colleagues about it and I was telling them, like this is what I've been doing. They're like, oh my gosh, I need that. I need you to like outline what you did, because that's what I need in my life to kind of jumpstart taking care of myself and jumpstart working habits back into my life. So put it all together, shared the trackers that I made and the exact habits that I used over 75 days to get where I needed to be. And what's so fascinating is I got the same outcome that people get from 75 hard.

Camille:

By the end, I was doing a lot of things every day to show up for myself. I had lost the weight that I was hoping to lose. I was feeling really good in my body, but I did it in a way that didn't punish me when I messed up, that didn't require perfection and it just felt good. So that's what 75 Rises is. I walk you through this 75-day protocol of how to incorporate habits at a cadence and a speed that feels good to you, and healthy habits, um. I kind of use some generic ones that are a good framework that everyone could put into their lives. But you can. It's interchangeable. You can swap out the habits if you want to, or add your own Um, and I explained that in the program, but yeah, 75 rise, it's just $27 and it walks you through the 75 days.

Camille:

So that's awesome. And is that within your app or is it something separate? That one is separate, but that's a good idea I didn't even think about. I could put that in the app.

Ciera:

Something to think about. Maybe someday it will be in the app then. Yeah, I didn't even think about that. Well, cool. Well, thank you so much, Camille. I am so glad that we got to have this conversation. I think it's. I think it's really good for not just moms who are recently postpartum, but like maybe 15 years postpartum, Like you know. I think it's totally good for anyone who wants to just improve their core. I'm sure it's actually probably beneficial for men too, I would imagine Absolutely.

Camille:

We have had. We've actually had over a dozen dad success stories, because the anatomy is the same. Those core muscles well, obviously, the anatomy of the core, not the entire body, anatomy of the core is the same and you will. Muscles obviously anatomy of the core, not the entire body. Anatomy of the core is the same and you will. You engage those muscles in the same way. And while dads maybe aren't pregnant or have, you know, growing a baby, they also struggle with a tight core and, like I said a lot of times, it's core weakness and so by focusing on deep core rehab exercises, it tightens your tummy right up.

Camille:

And I was going to tell you too, the oldest woman who has done our Mommy Tummy Fix program was 74. And she was watching. She just became a great grandma, she just had her first great grandchild and she saw us online and she was like, oh my gosh, I wonder if this is why my whole life I have always felt like I've had this little pooch, and so, sure enough, she laid on the ground, she did the way to self-check for diastasis recti that Jared shows you on our YouTube channel, and she had like a three finger gap all these years after having a baby, and so she joined our app and did the exercises and she like, reached out. One day. She's like. I am so excited to tell you I have closed my gap. At 74 years old, I have healed my ab separation. So there are grandmas doing this, strengthening their core, healing those muscles, even all these years later. It's it's pretty awesome.

Ciera:

That's so cool. Okay so, grandmas, moms, everyone, everyone listening, this is for you, it's for everybody. Oh, I love it. Well, thank you so much, Camille. It's been a great time talking to you.

Camille:

No, thank you for having me. You are delightful and I had such a good time.
