We often frame this as a political problem, a cultural problem, or a generational problem. But beneath all of that lies something more fundamental: a widespread gap in emotional maturity skills.
In Montessori education, children receive explicit instruction in something called Grace and Courtesy, lessons that teach how to interrupt respectfully, disagree without escalating, express frustration safely, and repair relationships after conflict.
