So happy that you're here.

Speaker 1:

All right, I want to carry on the same conversation we had last week around time and owning your time, but today I want to talk to you about the power of empowered living, like how to take control back of your life and your business and live a more empowered life. So have you ever felt like you're just going through the motions with life and business, like you're reacting to everything instead of truly being in control? I know that I have. What if I told you that the power to change your life actually lies within you and empowered living. Today, I'm going to dive into what it means to live an empowered life and how to reclaim your power so that you can transform your life, your business and, truly, anything that you want. So we're going to talk about empowered living, what it means, why it's essential and how making the shift to empowerment changes everything. So we're going to cover how taking back control helps you step into your true power and elevate every aspect of your life from truly that anything that you want. Let's first define what empowered living is. So empowered living is all about making intentional decisions, ones that align with your values, your desires and your vision about your life. It's stepping out of your autopilot that we all live, and it's reclaiming control of your time, your energy and, most importantly, your mindset. So what it's not? Empowered living is not about being busy. It's not about having a long to-do list, feeling like you are productive, and it's not. Empowered living is not about being busy. It's not about having a long to-do list, feeling like you are productive, and it's not about constantly striving for more, although we have been taught and conditioned and groomed to think that it's actually about choosing what's aligned with your vision and saying no to anything that doesn't and staying firm in that no.

Speaker 1:

So I remember when I used to wake up feeling like I was constantly putting out fires, like before I even had a cup of water or a cup of coffee, I felt like I was already behind. I had to put out these fires. In my business I was always behind, reacting to everything. What did I have to do? I was taking yesterday into today and then I realized, by stepping into my own empowerment, I could actually choose how I wanted to show up and I could choose it as a fresh day. In this moment, yesterday's not happening. In this moment, in this moment, I'm just literally waking up and, okay, my alarm's going off. That was when everything started to shift for me, when I literally just started living, moment by moment, in an empowered place, with an empowered mindset.

Speaker 1:

So a question for you is are you living empowered or are you just reacting to what life throws at you? What would your life look like if you took your control back and started living from a more empowered place? The shift happens from reacting to then creating. So I want you to think from moving from a reactive mindset into a creative mindset.

Speaker 1:

The reactive mindset is when people kind of live their lives in reactive mode. You're living off of the 3D, you're not even thinking about the 4D or the 5D. You're responding to the demands, you're responding to the expectations of others. You're constantly putting out fires. You're feeling like you have very little control over anything your time, your energy, your decisions. And think about the last time you got to the end of the day and thought to yourself where did my day go? Where did the time go? Maybe your day was filled with back-to-back meetings, answering emails, responding to clients, checking off that never-ending to-do list. Right by the end you're exhausted and it feels like you didn't even move the needle at all. You feel like, okay, I have more to do, even tomorrow, because you didn't get anything done.

Speaker 1:

The signs for this, where many people have to hear kind of like can you help me understand if this is me or not? Well, this is how you'll know if you're living in a reactive mode. You feel overwhelmed and constantly behind. You find yourself agreeing to things that drain your energy because you feel obligated. Hi, that was me. You have little time for yourself or things that matter to you the most, and your day-to-day feels like a never-ending list of tasks instead of intentional actions that actually move you towards your goals. So the first step in empowered living is recognizing that you have the power to create your life rather than to react to it. Okay, now, this doesn't happen overnight, but with small, intentional decisions, you can begin shifting from reactive to proactive. The mindset shift is like this Instead of saying I have to do this, start asking yourself is this what I want to do? Does this align with my values and my goals of where I'm trying to go? This small change in perspective literally can change everything. It helps you pause and it helps you take back your control of your decisions.

Speaker 1:

Here's an example I remember when I used to say yes to every single opportunity because I thought it was moving me closer. I thought it would lead me to more growth, more projects, more clients, more visibility. Yes, yes, yes. Of course, this is what I got to do. I'm just starting out. I want to make it big and this is how I have to start out.

Speaker 1:

But I quickly realized that while I was busy, I wasn't moving toward my true vision at all. I got it all mixed up. I thought I had to say yes to all these things when it actually wasn't in alignment. I was reacting to every opportunity that came my way instead of being intentional about what I said yes to. I had zero boundaries. I was basically doing deals with the devil, which I wasn't, but I was saying yes to everything, and that's not necessarily what you have to do to get major success.

Speaker 1:

That's when I decided to take control and start creating the business that I wanted. I decided to redefine everything. I redefined what success even looked like for me. I redefined how much money I actually wanted to make. I redefined why I show up and the way I show up on social media, and so, finally, I decided to create a business that aligned with my values and priorities. I want freedom. I want joy. I want peace filled throughout my day. I don't give actually a care about anything else, so I let go of the things that weren't serving me. I stopped having zero boundaries, saying yes to everything, even though it didn't make me feel like a hell yes which I need to have a hell yes for it to be a yes and that's when I actually started to see growth.

Speaker 1:

It's crazy what you think would be backwards is actually when I became what I would say super successful both personally and professionally, and it happens that way. It's not like success happens in one area of your life and not the other. And I have found, when you try to say yes, with no boundaries and going towards something that doesn't fill you up doing a side business that doesn't fill you up but you've seen other people have major success but you aren't you might find success professionally, but you will not find it personally. So this is the way I want you to have success. I want you to have it both professionally and personally, because you attack it from a place of alignment, from a place of empowered living. So I want you to take a moment and reflect on your current situation, like, where are you feeling that you're reactive? And if it's everything, that's okay. You just have to first take a little bit of an audit and then ask yourself is there something that you're doing out of obligation or because it aligns with your long-term vision? Which is it? You have to choose, and I want you to take that small action step today to shift from reacting to simply then creating the benefits of when you start to shift to an empowered mindset, you will have more clarity, you will feel like you have more purpose in your day, you will feel a whole hell of a lot less burnt out and overwhelmed and you'll find you'll have an increased energy level and focus on the things that matter, and that will then compound.

Speaker 1:

So if you want to transform and have a more empowered living that will help your business transform, it does not have to stop with personal decisions. Just like I shared with you. This can have a massive impact on your business, like it did mine. Are you just saying yes to everything? Are you feeling like you have to grind hard, hustle hard and that means you put your time in and then you're going to hit your big break because a lot of big mentors out there are talking about that? No, that's not necessarily true if it doesn't feel in alignment. So empowered living allows you to be more strategic and selective with your business decisions. You're no longer just chasing every opportunity. You're no longer feeling obligated to say yes to everything. Instead, you focus on opportunities and projects that align with the vision of where you're trying to go, align with the life that you want. You want freedom. That's not doing three reels a day, a live a day or whatever. So I want you to think of making those decisions and focusing on what's going to bring you closer to your long-term goal.

Speaker 1:

I've shared kind of already a little bit about this, but, like, I remember working with a client and she was at max capacity, but she was still saying yes to new projects because she wanted more, more, more. She felt like she had to accept every client. She felt like she had to go over and beyond and stretch her time even thinner, because that's what she thought would move the needle further. That more means more, right. But when we look deeper together and she realized that she wanted more time freedom, she actually wanted to enjoy the money that she was making. She wasn't just so focused on more and more and more money, she wanted the time freedom. That's kind of why she started her business in the first place. We made a few tweaks to align with the life that she wanted and she started to say no to projects that weren't a good fit. She even had to let go some clients, and that was something that we worked together on deeply and, as a result, she made space in her calendar and is living a more fulfilled life than ever. She's dropping her daughter off at school these days, when she never did that she's going to dance lessons, when she never did that. She had her calendar full of clients because she thought more was more.

Speaker 1:

So you've got to really make sure you're making these decisions from an aligned place your long-term goal because money is not it. It's what money is going to provide, and you know that. So ask yourself what's one area in your business where you have been reactive that you have not been aligning with your long-term vision? Maybe it's saying yes to projects that don't align, or maybe it's draining your energy. What would happen if you started making more empowered decisions about where you invest your time and energy? You don't know until you try the results.

Speaker 1:

When you make these shifts, my friend, you're looking at more clarity. You will gain clarity on what truly matters to move your business forward. I'm walking proof of that. You allow yourself to focus on high impact activities that have a high return. You heard that correct. You will have more boundaries in place, which means you will have boundaries with your time, your clients, your projects. Like. Are you just saying yes? Are you not even abiding by your own boundaries? I had another client who started gaining some one-on-one clients and did not know how to stop opening up Voxer to serve them, even though she lets them know. I answer you between the hours of I think hers were like nine to six and she was answering them at night and I'm like you've got to stop that. You have to be an example. You have to have those boundaries. They're gonna respect you more for that anyways.

Speaker 1:

Another result of empowered living with your business is aligned growth. Like, instead of hustling and chasing every opportunity, you is aligned growth, like, instead of hustling and chasing every opportunity, you get to focus on aligned growth, which will be so much more sustainable and saying yes to clients and projects that are in sync with your goals, in sync with your vision and the life that you want. And you know, for me, the biggest shift happened for me when I stopped trying to do it all, like I got caught up in all of that which I've talked about extensively on this, like kind of rebrand. I used to think that the more clients and the more hours meant I was more successful. I was a boss babe, like look at me, yeah. But when I embraced empowered living, oh my God, I learned to focus on high impact clients. I raised my fricking prices, I streamlined all of my processes, I hired an assistant and I trusted that saying no to some opportunities actually made more room for better ones. I raised my prices and not everyone could afford that. That's a scary move, but you know what? I know where I'm going and if I'm going to give my time, there's a premium price for that and everything worked out once I made those decisions. Those decisions helped me grow my business. I hired an assistant and I now am living a much more aligned life and my business is in flow, it's sustainable and it's fucking fulfilling. Like I can't share enough about these shifts that I'm telling you about how they can be monumental in not only your life but your business as well. So remember empowered living it's a decision.

Speaker 1:

Empowered living for your business is all about choices and just asking yourself is this getting me closer to my goals, or am I just saying yes to everything and then I'm hating working with these people? Am I resentful for what's on my calendar? So, own your decisions. Own your decisions is step one. Step two is set those empowered boundaries.

Speaker 1:

Without clear boundaries, it's easy to give away your time and energy to things that don't serve you, and this is where the leaders come through. This is where only the strong and the leaders in the group are the ones who emerge and are actually still going, rather than people saying yes to everything. They're not raising their prices emerge and are actually still going, rather than people saying yes to everything. They're not raising their prices. If anything they're, they're, they're decreasing their prices. They're just trying to get low ticket sales here and there, and then where's that going to leave you? People are going to take advantage. People are not going to treat you with respect.

Speaker 1:

I have to share right now, before I go into step three on this, these practical steps for you. When you you have higher prices, you have a higher, more emotionally intelligent buyer client, if you will, and it is a very different game than when you have anyone coming in $20, $100, even $200. It's a very different type of clientele. So if that's not your sign to raise your prices, I don't know what is okay. So step one is own your decisions. Step two is set empowered boundaries. Step three is align with your vision. Always, always, always, always.

Speaker 1:

For me, I always check in with my vision and when I make decisions, does this opportunity align with the life I'm creating? Is this new client going to be a fit, even though she's willing to pay my new prices. If it's not, I pass. And I trust that I pass because ultimately I want to live in alignment. I want that freedom, I want that flow, I want that peace, I want that joy. I will not just work with anyone. This is why I'm an application process. This is why I only handle a certain amount of one-on-one clients at a time, and it's important for you to do that same thing.

Speaker 1:

The long-term benefits, my friend, of doing this. It's going to unlock so many things. You're going to unlock opportunities in your life, you're going to have more luck in your business. You're going to have more abundance. You're going to have more time freedom. That's a result of this.

Speaker 1:

When you live an empowered life from an empowered place, from an empowered mindset, with that confidence, everything shifts. You feel more in control, you're more confident, you're more aligned. Confident, everything shifts. You feel more in control, you're more confident, you're more aligned. The overwhelm completely fades away and you're able to approach life and business with clarity, with purpose, and it feels like a beautiful dance, like a completely in sync dance. This is exactly what I help my one-on-one clients with and it lights me up. This is the way to live life and business. Yes, you can have it all without having an endless to-do list. You can. So ask yourself how would your life and business change if you lived more empowered? What would you have the confidence to create if you fully stepped into your power? You can do this. You can do this. You get to call the shots. You're the creator. It just happens, with these shifts to be living a more creative life, empowered life, rather than reacting to what life is throwing at you.

Speaker 1:
