Speaker 1:

Welcome to she is Redefined, the podcast where we break free from societal expectations, redefine our identities and step fully into the woman we were always meant to be. I'm Katie Smith, your host and guide on this journey of transformation. Here we're all about embracing change, cultivating confidence and living life on our own terms. Each week, we'll dive into topics that inspire, challenge and empower you to redefine what it means to be you. Into topics that inspire, challenge and empower you to redefine what it means to be you. So if you're ready to rewrite your story and live life that's bold, authentic and unapologetically yours, let's dive in. Welcome back to another episode of she is Redefined and we are going to talk about what's probably going to get taken up quick here maybe, if not already is. I want you to redefine the hustle and finish the year strong without burning out. Now I'm going to actually pull back the curtain a little bit on this episode. So, like, count yourself lucky for finding this and if you get any value out of this, send it to your boss, babe friend, your biz friend, your manifestation friend, like any friend, and I would just love that support, because I really want to help more people intentionally spend the holiday season and end the year from a place of joy and success and not burnout and should haves and wish I did kind of language. So, with nearing the end of the year, you might be like me and this is the time where the world starts shouting. Or when I say be like me, you're like feeling the push, like the world is telling you to push harder. There are strategies on how to give yourself a raise before the end of the year and double your income before the end of the year. Push harder, finish strong, squeeze every last bit out of the year and blah, blah, blah. Let me poke my eyes out. Yeah, and while that motivation is can be something that you want to get behind, my question that I ask myself is yeah, I could do that, but at what cost? And I want you to think about that.

Speaker 1:

What happens when we're constantly sprinting, trying to cram in as much as we can into the last few weeks of the year? We usually burn out or we make mistakes, miss things and end up missing opportunities in the long run because you're trying to cram in a little bit more money, you know, squeeze some in before the end of the year. That is not a long-term vision, my friend. So is there a better way? Well, I have seemed to find one and I'm going to share it with you. Is there a better way? Well, I have seemed to find one and I'm gonna share it with you.

Speaker 1:

But what if finishing strong didn't mean hustling at all? What if it actually meant slowing down, getting intentional and focusing on what truly matters? That is what I wanna share with you today. I wanna share how to redefine the hustle and finish strong without burning out. Let's start with this why push harder? Do more.

Speaker 1:

Mentality at the end of the year doesn't actually help us, for one. Rushing through your goals by the end of the year often leads to sloppy, misaligned actions. You're so focused on getting things done fast that you miss the chance to do them well. Also, this mentality puts you in a constant state of stress. If you haven't listened to last week's episode, go back and listen to that, because I talk all about this. But your nervous system is on high alert, so like it's thinking it's going to die any minute. That's what the flight or fight mode is. And instead of enjoying your process and like pouring in service and love and alignment into what you're doing, and like enjoying the process of the year and what you've built. You're then in panic mode about what hasn't been done yet before 2025. And that, literally, is exhaustion. Not only that, it's coming from a place of you feel like you've done nothing. You feel worthiness, and I don't want that for you. So let's get real If hustling harder at the end of the year was the magic solution, wouldn't we all be ending December feeling like a million bucks, feeling like everything is checked off our lists, we're good, but instead but instead most of us end the year feeling drained, feeling like wishing we had taken up more time to enjoy the process, wishing we were more present with our kids, with our family, wishing we would just look back and have a little bit more gratitude, like I remember very vividly I don't remember what year it was, I think it was last year, 2023, where I was watching some people who I was following on Instagram at the time and they were going like next level crazy with Black Friday, cyber Monday, and then the week after Christmas and before New Year's where they were launching this whole huge thing, and I literally remember thinking are they not working at all?

Speaker 1:

They have 20 stories every day, they're doing these live calls and like they're touting about it, which I think is great, but at the same time, I felt exhausted for them, looking at them, and it was like that's a major distraction from looking at your year of 2024, your year prior of what you've been able to accomplish. And so the truth of the matter is, hustling is not the answer. Alignment is, and I'm going to show you how to do this without ever having to focus on visibility. And if you love what I'm about to break down for you, you are going to want to get your hands on my six-figure overflow strategy. I literally give you the framework of what I do with my VIP clients, who pay me lots of money to give them a 90 day road map that backs into their income goal with their current book of business. Yes, you heard that right. I'm not talking about viral visibility, new leads, the best opt in pages, more lead magnets, a better sales funnel like shut the hell up. I hate that shit. Is visibility important? Maybe, but I'll show you how to scale your business by 40% with your current book of business in my VIP session. So if that's your thing, I will show you. But anyways, if you want my framework and you're not ready to have like a full 90-day roadmap an hour together where I go under the hood of your business. You're going to want to get your hands on my framework and it is like a tenth of the cost and it's boop. It could be delivered to you in three audio trainings, literally while you're listening to this, if you'd like that.

Speaker 1:

All right, so before we dive into the actionable steps, I now want to talk about my favorite thing, which you're probably thinking like I'm a broken record, but it's so true. I want to talk about hitting pause. I want to talk about the pause button, like literally halting. That's what I want to talk about, because when was the last time you gave yourself permission to actually pause and take your foot off the gas pedal and reflect on what you've already accomplished? When, if you're not doing that, who is? If you're not treating your business like it's a big freaking deal, who is, who is? Who do you expect to If you're not celebrating every single thing that you get?

Speaker 1:

Who do you think is going to If you don't stop looking at your business like it's this new rookie, like fresh out of the oven business, like it's time to buckle up buttercup and like let's be a big girl now If your business has made money, start looking at your business that it is a successful business and take the training wheels off. How can you do that? When you reflect and you actually look at what you've accomplished, like I'm coming in hot right now because I love you and this is for you. So let's not look at what's left to do, to like hit another goal before 2024 ends, but let's look at what you've already done. Let's celebrate that. Let's take a moment to think about it. What were your wins this year, big and small? Maybe you hit a major milestone in your business or in your personal life. Write it down. Maybe it's something quieter, like learning to set boundaries that is freaking monumental. Or maybe it's learning how to simply survive through a tough season and you came out stronger.

Speaker 1:

Reflection is so powerful because it shifts your focus from lack to abundance. Instead of feeling like you're running around always out of time, you start to see how much you've already done, and that changes everything, my friend. So here's a simple exercise. Let's do it. After this episode, take 10 minutes to write down everything you're proud of from this year alone. Celebrate those wins one by one, by one, as if you were about to tell a speech, say a speech about them. You're walking up to the podium and people are watching you. I want you to literally celebrate them, as if you're going to do a speech because you earned an award. That's the level of celebration I want to talk about, because when you're rooted in gratitude and reflection, you're operating from a place of strength, and that is a vibration people cannot mess with. It's not scarce, it's strength. You're the lion, you're going after it. You got this. You're the goddess Complete shift. So how can you finish the year strong without hustling harder? Here are a few steps to help you align your energy and stay focused.

Speaker 1:

I want you to actually prioritize what really matters to you, like. Look at your goals for the rest of the year and ask yourself what's really important here. Do I want a ton of new sales or do I want a thriving community of people who fucking love everything that I do? They love my programs? There's repeat buyers. You can't really have both. You can't focus on both. So what is that? What will move the needle for you and bring you closer to life, the life that you want, and what won't? Focus on those things and then let the rest go. It's a very fun exercise that actually people find kind of they have some resistance around it because no one wants to let go or change anything, because change is obviously uncomfortable.

Speaker 1:

Second is I want you to create space for rest. Rest is not lazy, rest is productive. Let me say that again Rest is not lazy, rest is productive. When you take time to recharge, you're giving yourself the energy and clarity to make better decisions. It's literally fact. So remember rest fuels success. Okay, none of the success loves speed crap that we all bought into. Actually, it's the opposite. Rest fuels success. You are the one who creates success. You are the one who creates momentum.

Speaker 1:

Stop acting like you need to catch momentum. Who's going to give it to you? You are Number three set aligned intentions and not unrealistic deadlines. So what do I mean by that? Instead of saying to yourself I need to accomplish X Y, z before December 31st, try saying what's one meaningful step that I can take that will set me up for success in the new year, in 2025. Can you look beyond the 31st of December? Intentional, aligned actions will always beat frantic, rushed efforts. And then step four is celebrate the journey. Don't wait until the year is over to completely celebrate your progress, find small ways to honor what you've done every single day. That celebration energy is so magnetic and it keeps you motivated without ever tapping back into the hustle game which, like I mean, once you're out, you're out and like you're, like I'll never go back. I mean, that's me, I'm a. I'm a recovering hustler, okay, along with recovering people pleaser, along with recovering perfectionism, like I feel, like I'm a whole new person and like I love it because we're meant to grow and evolve. All right.

Speaker 1:

The last part I really wanna talk about here is the mindset shift that I want you to take away is success doesn't actually come from doing more faster. Success doesn't come from last minute pushes. Success doesn't come from squeezing out every last drop. It comes from actually slowing down, aligning with your goals, trusting the process and knowing that everything starts and ends with you. You can have the best strategy out there. You can keep looking for the best strategy out there, thinking that it's somewhere hidden. You just don't quite know. And there's one secret billionaire strategy playbook out there. I'm just going to get my hands on it. But you just watch, I'm going to find it. Good luck, you're going to find yourself racking up quite a bit of debt on that. You're going to find yourself feeling more behind with that and you're going to find that you're even farther from your goals.

Speaker 1:

And what I just shared with you right now is my own experience. I never had a problem investing in myself Never, ever, ever and I've been open and honest about that on this podcast I've racked up more debt than I'd like to admit, doing that strategy which left me feeling empty in debt, which has a whole emotional baggage with that and feeling like worthless and I'm never going to get there. And that feeling fucking sucks until you realize, holy shit, who's going to give me the momentum card Wait a minute. Who's going to give me the perfect formula to go viral? Because followers mean dollars. I'm sorry. What Like if I could show you clients that I've worked with who have less than a thousand followers who are making more money than me, I would. If I could show you my own, I would Like it would blow your socks off. My small account with my email list of less than 300 people makes me more money than people who have 50,000 followers and above, because I finally figured this shit out.

Speaker 1:

It's the mindset shift and it's literally thinking beyond every sale. Yeah, that's the trap that people fall into Viral trends, visibility. And then the last part is I just got to get a sale. Okay, I got one. Wear 10 more. I want 10 more, and then 10 more. Have fun on that hamster wheel. I know exactly where it's going to lead you. You're chasing a carrot you're never going to catch. I don't want that for you. So where can you find that mindset shift? Because the best part of this mindset shift is when you finally pause and relax. You get to enjoy life right in front of you, and it actually means you're working smarter, not harder.

Speaker 1:

I said this on my last one. These are exactly what my VIP intensives are all about. I deliver to you a 90 day roadmap with a custom six figure plan. Since I've been doing these VIP sessions, I have delivered a $100,000 roadmap, $200,000 roadmap and a $1 million roadmap and everything in between. I'm just giving you an idea of what that looks like and I know exactly how to back into that. And this is no. Let me create a low-ticket, mid-ticket, high-ticket offer no, this is beyond. Let me nurture high ticket offer no, this is beyond. Let me nurture my email list no, this is completely different Strategies you never even thought of before.

Speaker 1:

Because when I finally hit I'm done my burnout moment, I had to get really creative and I had to hit pause. I had to start planting plants. I had to start doing things that let me completely scale back. I stopped numbing myself. I completely shifted everything about myself into chilling out and like how can I just absorb life in every moment by moment process. And what happened from that is my path was literally laid out for me from God. It was just like hey, now that you've chilled the fuck out, katie, here you go and I started following it step by step by step. I started implementing things, not from a coach, from literally me slowing down and getting these all of a sudden, random ideas, and I started implementing them. Guess what happened next? You know this. My income tripled in two weeks and it has not stopped. I started delivering this to my one-on-one clients. I've had 35% lifts in my one-on-one clients from their current book of business and 40%. No one has not hit 35% lift with their current book of business. Can you imagine what that would do for your business? If you chilled out on the front and you thought about the back and you thought about hey, how do I lift the current book of business I have? I'll tell you what'll happen. You will literally feel like you're getting paid to exist because you're not relying on new, new, new, turn and burn, turn and burn.

Speaker 1:

So as you close out this year, I want you to define what success looks like for you. As you close out the year, I want you to celebrate yourself. I want you to finish strong, in the way that feels best to you. You get to make the rules. You get to say so. Let's make this about alignment and ease. Can you end the year rich in ease? Who doesn't want to be wealthy in ease? Rich in ease, celebrating everything that you have, celebrating how far you've come, because when one operates from a place of flow and trust and clarity and gratitude, you're not just finishing the year strong, you're setting yourself up for even greater success in the year ahead.

Speaker 1:

This is what I help people do. Don't get caught up in the trap. Do all this stuff before the end of the year, because you might shoot yourself in the foot and I don't want that for you. You also might crush it. Don't take my words too seriously here, but you also could crush it and that could go. But I just ask when will enough be enough? When can you relax? And why not relax with your family around and really soak up memories? Because I'll tell you one thing I didn't remember the gifts people got me in the holidays. I remember the people who were there. So think about that.

Speaker 1:

All right, thank you so much for listening to this. I feel like I took you to church. I love you so much and if this resonated with you, please share it with someone who needs to hear it. Let them know what aligned action you're taking as you wrap up the year. Share that. Be accountable, find an accountability partner Like, really let yourself go there, get more uncomfortable and then you're gonna be more comfortable being uncomfortable and then from there, it's game over.
