Season 2 Ep 23: Co-Creation Is the Code

Katie Smith Season 2 Episode 23

For years, I thought I had to do it all on my own. Strategy. Mindset. Hustle. I was manifesting without true faith—until everything cracked open.

In this episode, I’m sharing the raw truth about my journey with God—how I lost connection, how I found it again, and how co-creating with Source changed the way I lead, live, and receive.

If you’ve been doing “all the right things” and still feel like something’s missing… this might be the missing piece.

This isn’t about religion—it’s about remembering the power of divine partnership.

✨ Let this be your permission slip to stop carrying it all on your shoulders and start building with something far greater.

Speaker 1:

All right, I got to be honest with you. This little like, like blah moment I've been in, this little like I don't want to do anything, I don't want to create content, I don't want to even record episodes. It has not left if I mean totally honest with you and I'm giving myself grace and all that, just like I talked about last week's episode. But something came to me as I was driving on my way home and then I just came right in here to record it because I'm like, okay, work on my intuitive hits on the downloads I get and that's usually what I do, because that's my guidance, that's my inner compass, if you will, and it's all around God and religion and where you stand with it, and this is a safe place. This is like no judgment whatsoever, but I had this realization and this is going to ruffle a lot of feathers, and that is not my intention at all. My intention is just to help you think bigger and broader than you have right now or have ever in the past, and I honestly feel like religion is messing up people's relationship with God. Yes, you heard that right. Religion's out there Catholicism, christianity. I don't know them all, but I just know my experience with those two. I think it's ruining our relationship with God. I've talked a little bit about this in the past, but I don't think as authentically as I'm going to right now, because I feel like God is a bad rap. People feel judged if they're not in. People feel judged if they're not in, not a part of a religion or a church, and I just my goal is to get more people to connect with God and my goal is to have that feel. However, that wants to feel for you, and it has nothing to do with what church you're.

Speaker 1:

A part of my history is I was raised Catholic, roman Catholic, and I felt very shamed all the time in that environment. I had to be a good girl. If not, I had the fear put in me that I was going to hell or I wasn't loved. And that is not God, that's just evil human construct. To help people behave Now, is that like the worst thing to do to keep people to stay in line? I'm not going to say that is it makes sense on a level of like sure, this is the best way to get people to behave, but I don't think that builds a relationship with God, though that's fearing God. Now, don't take that out of the wrong context.

Speaker 1:

I think there should be some God-fearing involved, just because of how powerful but God is, love. God has been with you in your deepest moments and God has been with you in all the other moments. And I say to all my one-on-one clients if you weren't supposed to be here right now, if you weren't supposed to have everything that you have, you would be gone by now. You'd be dead. Just me too. I'm supposed to be here for a reason. I'm supposed to do the a message out there that is not serving everyone who wants to have it all, and it's really building your relationship with the creator. Whatever you want to call that, it doesn't even have to be called God. You can call it source, you can call it the creator, you can call it divine. Whatever floats your boat, you can call it God. I call it God and I'm so vocal about God. God led us to Texas. God has orchestrated everything in my life and for the longest time.

Speaker 1:

It was even hard for me to say it because I still am working through the deconditioning of my upbringing in Catholicism and also from people kind of like oh, they would make fun of you if you were. Like, oh, you're one of those do-gooders and Bible thumpers and God people that would be in my head even at 36, 37 years old, like it's crazy. Maybe you can relate to that. But now I can't stop talking about God and what he's done in my life and every time something goes my way, literally I tell myself in my head thanks, team. That's what I say. I said thanks, team. Like look at that, that worked out perfectly for me. Thanks, team. And that's my way of saying thanks to God.

Speaker 1:

So I'm sharing this with you because if you wanted to start getting more of what you want in life, it's literally creating a relationship with the creator, god, source, whatever you want to call it. And how do you do that? You get to call the shots on how you do that. My Miracle Zone program walks you through really, really good of how to slow down and get into the flow of everything like miracles happening to you every single day. So you can check that out. That'll be in the show notes.

Speaker 1:

But it's slowing down and not trying to do everything. It's being okay with silence. By no means am I telling you to go meditate for 20 minutes, but if you started doing that, your life would change. You don't even have to meditate with your eyes closed. You can just sit outside and like, have nothing else. You're not reading a book, you're not listening to something, you're literally just sitting in silence. That's a form of meditation.

Speaker 1:

When you're driving, if you're alone in your car, this was my husband's favorite thing to do on his way to work when we lived in California. He loved to just sit in silence and that was his form of meditation, because when you can silence the noise, you can actually hear things that are going to get you to where you want to go. Now, don't do any of this with the expectation of hearing something. I did make that mistake when I first started this and I had a newborn it was my second child and I remember rocking him and I'd shut my eyes, literally. No joke, I'm like laughing right now. I would shut my eyes as I'm rocking him on the rocking chair and I'd be like, okay, show me something, show me a picture, Show me something, tell me something. And it's just so funny because that's actually not the point.

Speaker 1:

The point is to try to get yourself in the flow state which is silencing everything, silencing your inner voice, silencing anything external you're listening to, like shut it all down, to just be nothing, neutral, and that's really hard to get to. But once you get there, you will become addicted to it. I swear every one of my clients for most part most of them love slowing down, love doing one thing at a time. They love to just silence out the noise so that they remember they're actually in control. And when you just work with the creator, you're co-creating everything you want. Literally, you have no one else's approval, you don't have to work so hard, you just have to work within and like that's the game.

Speaker 1:

What did Jim Carrey say? He said I wish everyone would get everything they want all the success and all the money to realize that it's not about that, and that could not be more true. So again, this is not me knocking church. We go to church with my family. I think it's beautiful foundation.

Speaker 1:

But if you're someone who struggles with a relation with God, for whatever reason that might be, you just feel shame or judged around it. Here is your pass to move through that and just to work with the creator yourself, the universe yourself, internally in your thoughts, in your head. Silence them, control them. Be aware of the thoughts, because all the things that happen in your head are not your thoughts. They're really not. You get to choose which thought you want to hold on to and which belief you want to hold on to, but it takes a lot of self-awareness.

Speaker 1:

So how to slow down and do all that stuff? It's by silencing all of the noise and just keep tabs. Like if you're doing things that are not making you feel good, can you cut them out? Like is social media necessary? Like I just started talking about this on my social media. How I'm barely on it anymore, and I'm not. I don't need to post on social media every day for me to make money and people to find me. I don't. I don't even have to write an email every day or every week. All of that does not even sound sustainable to me. So everything is being redefined in my world and it is a fun game because I get to call the shots, just like you get to call the shots. You are in much more control than you even realize. Even if you have a corporate job, even if anything, even if you're, you have a, an illness right now, whatever it may be, you have so much more control than you've been led on to believe. It starts by silencing the noise.

Speaker 1:

Also shameless plug, getting into the miracle zone That'll change your life, and just trusting yourself. I'm going to have another episode coming up all around trusting yourself, and it's so juicy Good I, it's my jam right now. I love this conversation, so, anyways, that's it. I love you so much for being here. If you got anything out of this, I would love to hear, I would love to know, and I'm so appreciative that you're here and I'll catch you here next week.
