Episode 55: Investing in Your Gymnast's Nutrition Part 2- The ROI
Show Notes

What happens when your gymnast has been working on nutrition and fueling for 3+ years?

Incredible things!

Here at The Gymnast Nutritionist®, we're all about sustainable results---not short-lived, quick fixes.

This episode is a transparent "where are they now" with Jennifer, the parent of a first year 13 year old level 10 gymnast. Her gymnast had an incredible last season at level 9, and while the transition from level 9 to 10 is often a rocky one for most gymnasts...

It's been smooth sailing so far largely due to adequate fueling to support her 6+ hour workouts (30 hours/week) in the summer.

Her gymnast is known as the kid that "gets new skills" at the fifth hour of a 6 hour workout. How? Because this family has learned to leverage the power of nutrition to fuel optimal performance, recovery and longevity in the sport.

This family started working on fueling back in 2021 when their gym participated in our team talk series. They then joined The Balanced Gymnast® Program in Fall 2022 to take her nutrition to the next level, and that investment has paid off in a big way.

In this episode you'll hear:

  • How summer training is going as a first year level 10
  • How she's fueling and thriving during  6-7 hour workouts
  • How they're handling nutrition while on the road for multiple college camps
  • About her gymnast's new found interest in cooking (and what sparked that)
