Welcome to the Creative Momentum Podcast. I'm your host, Jen Moton, and I teach creative women how to make their passion projects real, things that make a difference in the world. If you're ready to stop letting yourself doubt hold you back and start doing the work, you are in the right place. Let's get into today's episode. Welcome to today's episode, When You Don't Know(Yet). Today I wanna share with you my take on when we wanna know an answer, we wanna know a next step, and we don't know yet. Here's what I believe. If you don't have an answer yet, you're not meant to know. It's as simple as that. I have found that for me, it often means that there's more for me to learn in my present experience. And the more that I try to live into the future or in the past, the less I learn and the less I'm present, and the longer, I'm putting that in quotes, things take to be realized, to be created. I think a lot of us humans are in a big rush to shift things. But nature takes its time. Dogs stop and sniff, they sit in the sun. Trees take their time growing underground roots as they're extending their branches at the same time. We don't know why we're here, and none of us knows what will happen in our lives. The only thing that we know, from experience, is that when it's time to know or understand, that's when things come together in an aha, and everything makes sense. So instead of wanting to know, wanting to know answers, wanting to know what's next, wanting to be in the future or in the past. My question for you is: How can you enjoy today more? Knowing that someday, exactly where you are right now, will make perfect sense for you and your journey. And I bet that you'll look back with nostalgia, and maybe even gratitude. I am so glad that you are here and that we get to walk our paths together. See you next time. Same time, same place. Bye for now. Thank you so much for listening today.
