Welcome, I hope and pray you find this podcast comforting and helpful as your navigate this journey of grief. I have a passion for bereaved families and the unique challenges they face. I also have a deep desire to bring education to others about child loss and life after loss. I'm a small town country girl who grew up in Montana, went to college in Iowa, and currently live in Washington. I married my college sweetheart and since our loss we have been blessed with two more children. Our firstborn Maverick was still born at term in Oct of 2019. Since then I have been on a mission to bless others in similar situations. We started a nonprofit, The Maverick John Foundation, that provides hospitals with cuddle cots for bereaved families. I have taught kindergarten & 3rd grade and have a deep love for people. I recently stepped back from teaching to put more time into my family and these other passions.
