Novena for the Miracle of Courage

Edita Birschbach

Fears, deep regrets, self-doubt, and the tendency to shrink in the presence of cruel narcissists—you’d think those burdens would vanish after being given a new lease on life.

But I still struggle.

The difference is, this time around, I tell myself, “This too shall pass.” And I believe it.

Still, I need this Novena. It strengthens me, helps me show up in the world with as much clarity, courage, and compassion as I can. I want to contribute—not halfway, but with the full capacity of who I am becoming.

As I listen to this Novena each day, I center my awareness on my heart—the seat of my soul, and, as I currently believe, the part of my body that connects me to the other side. Sometimes I move through my daily tasks or exercise while the Novena plays, but I always try to focus on my heart.

Speaking the Novena aloud alongside the recording adds power to this prayer.

I am not a doctor or medical professional. The content shared on this podcast is based entirely on my personal experience as a patient who lived with terminal Stage 4 gastric cancer. Nothing discussed on the Paranormal Happy podcast should be interpreted as medical advice.

I am simply sharing my journey—the choices I made for myself and the information I gathered, as I understood it at the time.

Please keep in mind that what worked for me may not work for everyone. Each person’s experience with gastric cancer is unique.

My hope is that my story may resonate with others or offer a sense of connection—but it is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. Any decisions or actions you take based on what you hear here are entirely your own responsibility.
