Lou-Anne Pelletier

Lou-Anne is a twenty-two year Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and retired in 2020 as a Sargeant. She enrolled at the age of 31 years old when her son was just 2 years old, because she "wanted to be a part of something bigger than herself". She completed two tours of duty, one to Bosnia and the second to South Sudan. She also successfully completed training and became the pace setter for the CFB Borden Nijmegen team, she completed her aircrew training to become a flight attendant and she also successfully completed the Crew Commander's course for Armoured Vehicles; not many females had this training at the time. Her actual daily job was administration and finance which lead into her moving to a Human Resources position toward the end of her career.  She now enjoys retired life with her husband and fur babies and has chosen to live a minimalistic lifestyle by residing in their RV full-time.  She enjoys crocheting, photography, birding, boating and fishing.
