Episode 18 | Dee Ann Turner
Dee Ann Turner is a Communicator, Consultant and Coach. She began Dee Ann Turner, LLC after serving 33 years at Chick-fil-A, Inc. Most recently, she was Vice President, Sustainability, launching and leading Chick-fil-A's first sustainability strategy. As Chick-fil-A's first female officer, she previously served as the Vice President, Talent (Human Resources) for nearly 20 years. Her first book, It’s My Pleasure: The Impact of Extraordinary Talent and a Compelling Culture, reveals the secret sauce behind building and growing Chick-fil-A's revolutionary business model. Turner believes talent offers competitive advantage in any organization, and companies that recognize the value of individuals can succeed not just ethically, but financially as well. Having been mentored by Chick-fil-A Founder, S. Truett Cathy, and other Chick-fil-A leaders, Dee Ann continues to write and she is currently working on two new books to be released in 2019 and 2020. She speaks to more than 50 audiences annually sharing the principles she learned and led during her tenured Chick-fil-A career.
In addition to serving on the boards of several non-profits, the married mother of three is also active with a variety of family focused missions that support women and children. For more information, please visit DeeAnnTurner.com
