Gunston is trying to get to the bottom of the suddenly talking underpants and their plan to take over the world. He has turned to his rather ridiculous grandfather for help. They head to the highest hill in town where they meet He Whose Name Can Not Be Uttered, who is actually quite familiar. Then Gunston is in great danger and a hideous secret about Vreeland is revealed.
