In this OnePath Podcast, we sit down with Na'ima B. Robert, author, editor, and coach, to talk about identity, purpose, and what it really means to live as a Muslim woman navigating multiple roles, seasons, and the weight of a public life.
What does it mean to see yourself as a traveler rather than a title? How do you raise children in a world where Islamic books for kids barely existed? And when society says Muslim women should step back from the mic, what does history actually tell us about women and knowledge?
Na'ima B. Robert is an award-winning author of multicultural literature and the founding editor of SISTERS Magazine, a UK-based publication for Muslim women. Born in Leeds to a Scottish father and Zulu mother from South Africa, and raised in Zimbabwe, she converted to Islam in 1998. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she has published close to 30 books for children, teens, and adults, beginning with The Swirling Hijab, and has become one of the most recognised voices in Islamic publishing and Muslim women's media globally.
