Howdy. Long time listener, first time caller. The quote Boyd says to Raylan about “not believing a word he says but hopes that he enjoyed hearing him nonetheless,” came directly from Elmore Leonard. He said that to Walton Goggins after the first episode. Which ultimately led to Boyd surviving his shootout and being a secondary main character for the series. - Booze Lee
