Kate Morris
Aisling and Laura interview Kate Morris who is directing the upcoming play 'A View from the Bridge' by Arthur Miller. Kate is originally from Liverpool and has lived in Wellington since 2021. She back a background in acting and the arts however this play marks her directorial debut.
The play and explores themes of love, jealousy, betrayal, and justice within the Italian-American immigrant community in Brooklyn. The story revolves around Eddie Carbone, who takes in two illegal immigrant cousins, Marco and Rodolpho. However, as one of the cousins forms a romantic relationship with Eddie's niece, tensions rise, leading to a tragic and explosive climax.
