The Bears Hooligan
The Bears Hooligan: A Chicago Bears Podcast. From the guy who used to believe Virginia McCaskey was an immortal who lived off the sadness of Bears fans. If i had a time machine, George Halas would not have fertilized the egg that eventually became Virginia. Now she’s a ghoul haunting Halas Hall & the Soldier Field locker room showers. Alonzo Spellman called this "The realest pod on the streets today!" #BearDown

Boars give them up a Rogerin and take care of business. That's uh about as good as my English accent gets. But in the early aim game today, the Boars took care of business as they should have versus a pretty shitty team. But it was good to see. I slept in a little bit, actually, to be honest, and I recorded the game. So I woke up about uh game, probably about an hour or more in. Did not look at my phone because I had about 10 texts already, so that made me a little worried, thinking that something bad had happened. As in like normally that early in a game, I'm not getting that many texts, so I'm thinking somebody got hurt. Something bad happened. Bears were getting murdered. Just was worried. Started watching it, fast forwarding through the game, eventually caught up, like eight minutes left in the fourth. Not a great start. You know, that offense, first two drives looking like shit. Is this what we're gonna fucking see? What are these guys texting me about? The Jags just start kicking their ass because Jags, what was it? Do they score in their opening drive? Opening, either first or second drive, Jaguars scored. I was thinking this is gonna be close. I'm not liking what I'm seeing, and then the Bears fucking took over. D held them, did pretty well with you know three backup DBs in there. Gordon goes down, so they gotta fill him. Looks like quad or something. So hopefully that doesn't affect him long term. Luckily for them, with the the injuries in the secondary, they've got the bye coming up. So now they get a break, they get to heal up and get ready for the next part of the season, which is when uh they start to play some good teams. I think they start with Washington, the showdown of the pick one and two next week. And hopefully Caleb comes to fucking play because he played this week, man. Dude's throwing TDs all over the field, take care of fucking business, had that one bad pass that was the pick that was not a good throw. But other than that, for the most part, he looked pretty goddamn good, had good numbers, held the ball a little long, and a couple of the sacks he took were just holding the ball too long. I mean, get out of that pocket, throw it away, do something with it. No reason to be taking those sacks. I'd say he accounted for a couple sacks, but still, great game overall. I mean, he's progressing week to week, he's getting better. That D's fucking humming, even with a few um you know backups in there, still playing well. So yeah, it's looking good. I mean, on that one drive, the Bears did get lucky. There was a uh I don't know what when it was, maybe second half. There was a long drive where they just kept getting extended from penalties. I mean, every turn there's another another penalty on the shitty ass Jags. I think it was like the same dude too, committing all the penalties, and they uh kept walking the bears down the field until they eventually scored. I was hoping that uh Roshan would get in there once, had a had a Bears win, money line, comet scores, and Roshan scores, and Roshan fucked me. I was really hoping they'd give him one of those goal line trips, they'd give it to Roshan and he'd fucking take it in. Didn't happen. Would have been nice, would have been another like hundred and fifty bucks, but is what it is. They got the W four-and-two heading into the bye. Should be five and one, but can't complain too much. But it would have been nice if they would have been in indie five and one, be set up in a golden spot right now going forward. But I just the division games coming up here next month. I just want them to get this ball fucking going, get everybody, hopefully everybody's healthy for that game, and just demolish these motherfuckers. I'm watching the Green Bay game right now while I'm recording this, and they're up 14-0 with uh the second quarter just started against Arizona, and I want these motherfuckers to lose. I can't stand them. I can't stand their fan base. I'm a member of this Facebook group, which I suggest joining as Bears fans. Uh NFC North Trash Talk Cave. And these Packer fans are the most obnoxious motherfuckers on the planet. All they talk about is their four Super Bowl wins. Da-da-da-da-da. More than anybody in the division. They've been dominating the division. Da-da-da. Which they have. I mean, they've done dominating the division for fucking decades now, for the most part. I mean, you got you know, Minnesota wins at one time here, Bears win it one time there. You know, uh occasionally another team will win it here or there, but for the bulk of the last 20 plus years, the Packers have been dominating this fucking division. And I'm tired of it. And it does look like we got the real deal quarterback for sure. Barring injury, I think he is the real deal. I think he will have a great career. Uh, but you gotta get an O-line in front of him. I think this O-line, once we get into the division games, they got some good fucking pass rushers. I think we're gonna see some trouble, and it's not gonna be pretty. And one of the guys I'm mainly worried about is Braxton Jones. I think Braxton Jones is a total piece of shit. He sucks. This offseason, polls either by draft or by trade, polls needs to get a real legit left tackle. We cannot move forward with this bum at left tackle, and it's very unfortunate that we have to play the rest of the season with this piece of shit there. The Bears still managed to get some turnovers, even with a banged up secondary, which was nice. Forced a fumble, had a pick, and had a second force fumble that was that was reversed, and that was a fumble. I don't care what they say. That the guy took two steps with the ball. Definition of a catch these days is fucking ridiculous. This football move shit. You catch the ball and you take a couple steps. That's a catch. That's a reception. And then it was a fumble, and the Bears should have got uh recovered that ball. It should have had more points on the board. And the little midget kicker, he's starting to really piss me off. He missed a field goal. Oh, not to mention, I forgot, Cole Komet not only scored two TDs this game, but in that very beginning of the game, Bears' long snapper went down. I think on like the first punt, uh, went down for the game and was ruled out. And Cole Komet, who knew, at least I didn't, is the backup long snapper. So for all the extra points and that field goal, he was long snapping, and I think he was pretty much undefeated in his long snapping today. Great job. So not only did he score two TDs, dude was fucking long snapping the ball, which was great, hilarious. You don't see that very often. Hopefully, Bears fans went out post-game and did a proper hooligan episode in London. You know what I mean? That's you know, that's hooligan central, I'm I'm assuming. I don't know. I don't watch soccer. You hear about soccer hooligans, you see them like in bit parts and movies and shit. I love the idea of a soccer hooligan. I mean, that's where I came up with the podcast name. I I just love the idea of a group of guys rooting for a team, getting fucking rowdy on game day, tearing shit up, busting heads, busting skulls. I I love that idea. And I'd love to think that after that game, uh, you know, a good portion of liquored up Bears fans just run on a proper hooligan around London, just uh busting up some stupid Jags fans and busting up some of the uh you know local establishments, maybe. Show them what Bears fans are all about. Drink that city dry, bust them heads, and taking names. That's what uh being a Bears fan is all about these days. Maybe not in the past, maybe busting heads and busting places up, but not uh not taking names. And so far this season they're taking names. I don't care what everybody can say. Uh you see on all these like that's that trash talk page on Facebook or on Twitter or whatever, all these fucking clowns. Look who the Bears are playing, look at Bears fans getting so excited. Bears fans think they're winning the Super Bowl, fucking idiots. You've played nobody. But for the most part, besides the Colts, we've beat the teams we should beat. Bears should have beat the Colts as well. But Caleb's coming around last few weeks. O'Line's gotten better too last few weeks. I mean, is it versus uh shitty talent? Yeah, it is. But they're doing what they should do because all the time teams walk into a game versus shitty team, and then it's boom, they get surprised, they get busted into the mouth, and they lose the game. Happens every fucking week in the NFL. You know, favorites lose every week. Bears, the last two weeks for shitty teams have risen up and kicked their ass. Haven't just beat them by a touchdown or two, they've kicked their ass. And that's what they should have done. So they're gonna keep that shit fucking going. And hopefully, with this bye week, right now, they're gonna heal up, get ready to go, and then they're gonna start off their second half, a little more than second half, because the bye week's a little early, but uh strong, you know, kick Washington's ass, uh beat down uh Jaden Daniels in the showdown of the one-two draft picks. That's gonna be all hyped up. I'd love to see Daniels throw two picks, at least at a minimum, hopefully more. Bears D just smoke this fool. Just end that argument right now. Kick the shit out of this punk. No, none of his deep bullshit, you know, passes. Don't let him get outside the pocket, don't let him run for anything, and just smash this fucker in the mouth, and then Caleb Williams come out, have another stellar two touchdown plus game, high completion percentage, no shitty picks. Let's, you know, whatever. He just had one, but still. Let's clean that up and let's take care of fucking business, dude. Let's keep this thing rolling and let's get ready for these divisional games. And I want to see the Bears kick the shit out of these fuckers, dude. I want the Bears to demolish the division. Starting off with the Packers on November 17th. Again, I will be in Green Lake, Wisconsin. I invite any Packers fans to meet us there, and uh hopefully we bust you straight in the fucking mouth, and the Bears take care of goddamn business as they should. So Cheerio. Good times, London. Thanks for the W. And let's take care of our fucking business, governor. Bear the fuck down and let's go. I guess we'll see you in a couple weeks.
