Dec 03, 2022 Episode 16
Mountain Cog - Joshua Anderson & Mike Festerling

Guest Ryan “Noid” Beamish, Cycling Program Manager for Team Semper Fi, a sports division of the Semper Fi and America’s Fund (thefund.org), discusses serving his brothers and sisters in arms by helping the critically wounded, ill, or injured veterans get connected with cycling. Thru the Fund, Ryan is able to source adaptive bikes specific to the need, from hand to kneeler cycles, and everything in between. This podcast is especially timely as the Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation is currently matching donations thru Dec 31 up to $10 million. Ryan colorfully walks the listener thru inspiring stories of overcoming obstacles like returning from combat, breaking his neck in a bike accident, and saving his dog with recycled bike chain. As a GiddyUp rider with Transition Bikes, Ryan “destroys” the trails (in a good way) like The Noid destroying pizza in the 1980’s. We think you will love the passion in Ryan’s voice as he strives and backs others to be tenderhearted, humble warriors. Today, Tomorrow, Together! Tune in.
