Most financial decisions are not about right or wrong.

They’re about tradeoffs.

In this episode, I walk through some of the biggest financial tradeoffs I see when working with clients — and how to think through them in a practical, real-world way.

We talk about saving more now versus living more now, paying off your mortgage versus investing, retiring early versus retiring comfortably, and how to help your children without compromising your own retirement. These are decisions that don’t have perfect answers, but they do have consequences depending on what you choose.

I also share real client-style examples to show how these tradeoffs actually play out inside a financial plan, and how small adjustments can change the outcome in meaningful ways.

The goal is not to find the “best” answer.

The goal is to understand what you’re gaining, what you’re giving up, and how it fits into your overall plan.

Because once the plan is clear, the decisions become much easier.

As always, the plan comes first.
