Whitney Tfankedjian - on waves of grief

So good to have you here for my first solo sesh on the pod.

This is something I've wanted to do for quite some time. I have a list of ponderings, teachings, wonderings, wisdom tidbits, + general life goodness to share + I feel blissful + intuitively encouraged to step into these sessions.

About this Episode:

This episode references addiction, loss, + death. I start to talk about the waves of grief I experience since losing my brother Trevor Ryan Tfankedjian in August 2023.

This is something that's new to me - a new learning, teaching, discovery. It's been awful + beautiful. The shadow is dark. The processing is unpleasant.

But the brighter the light the darker the shadow.

We honour my brother here in all ways - something I didn't do when he was living but I know if he got out from under his addictions + was his true self he was a kind, helpful, empathetic person. Everything I do in my business, + all travels I go on are now for him. I do everything in his name going forward.


About Whitney:

Whitney is a passionate + highly motivated spiritual entrepreneur who leads with her heart + intuition.

she grew up in business, watching her grandfather, father, uncles, aunts, + family friends creating their own realities by working for themselves.

Entrepreneurship + self-employed mentality has always been at the forefront + it's important for her to offer a service with intention + love.

In that, she's always wanted to create her own own expressions, art, + do her own thing. She lives a life that's rooted in bringing something special to the world + getting out of the 'norm'.

Whitney started her self employed journey in the Yoga space + that has all since developed into this special space, Tulā - Community. Tulā is anti-capitalistic in nature + we believe that there's more than enough 'room' for everyone​

Her main goal in life is to make people laugh. Her second is to help.
