Creepy Bosses, Red Flag Ignorance, and Long Distance Trust with Kacee
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A “good opportunity” can turn into a bad situation fast, especially when money, access, and attention get mixed together. Kacee comes back to talk with us about what changed since the last time we recorded: she’s getting better modeling and influencer marketing gigs, she’s being paid in cash instead of just merch, and she’s learning the hard line between a brand that respects you and a person who tries to control you.
We get into the uncomfortable stuff, too. Kacee opens up about a brand owner who gave her and other women weird vibes, the moment it stopped feeling safe, and what finally made her say “I’m done.” From there, we talk boundaries that actually protect you: how she handles DMs, why she keeps distance with strangers, and how trusting your gut can save you time, money, and stress. If you work in modeling, content creation, or any public facing job, this is a real conversation about professional safety and self respect.
Then we shift to relationships and dating standards. Kacee breaks down the biggest red flags she ignored with an ex, what feels different with her current boyfriend, and what emotional intelligence looks like in real life. We talk long distance trust (he’s away on a ship), healthy arguments, why “casual” often gets messy, and why cheating culture is wrecking modern dating. If you’ve ever wondered whether your standards are too high, or you’re trying to learn how to communicate without blowing things up, you’ll get plenty to think about.
If this hit home, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs it, and leave a review. What boundary are you setting today?
• her boyfriend’s merchant marine schedule and how they handle distance
• leveling up in modeling with better paid brand deals and consistent work
• the warning signs of a creepy brand owner and why she walked away
• being managed by her mom and shifting to marketing for career growth
• red flags she ignored before and the traits that feel safe now
• boundaries with DMs, strangers in public, and online attention
• what makes a partner “boyfriend material” beyond looks
• why casual situations often turn messy and the case for transparency
• what a healthy argument looks like and why people quit too fast
• independence, missed calls, and trust when both people are building goals
• standards that are realistic versus standards that are just fantasy
• cheating culture and why honest communication beats sneaking around
New Relationship And Ship Life
SPEAKER_04Welcome back to another episode of the relationship method of my catch is your boy Chris. Today I have a person that came back. She's my neighbor. We just found out. I've seen her ass a couple of times. I just didn't know who she was, but now I do. I say, what's up? Um I got Casey back on this toe.
SPEAKER_01What is good?
SPEAKER_06How you doing, girl?
SPEAKER_01I'm doing amazing.
SPEAKER_06Amazing. And um I know this, but people don't. Uh, where are you coming from?
SPEAKER_01I came straight from a photo shoot.
SPEAKER_06I feel fucking special. Fuck yeah. And another tidbit. Um, she was single.
SPEAKER_02And now I am basically married.
SPEAKER_05Wait, you got a ring on too?
SPEAKER_01Oh no.
SPEAKER_05Oh, I was gonna say, what's that?
SPEAKER_01A friendship ring, goddamn.
SPEAKER_05Oh, is it that serious now?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Six months in?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06That serious?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, I think it it got serious pretty fast because he was my best friend first. So like being or like getting into a relationship was pretty easy for us.
SPEAKER_06Are you at his crib a lot?
SPEAKER_01He's always at mine, but he works on the um cargo ships. He's a merchant marine. So good job. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Ooh, mm-mm.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_06Mmm. Okay. Hold on, let me flip this bitch around so you can see yourself.
SPEAKER_01Period. Oh, yes. Yes. A lot better. Alright. I'm not gonna cut that bitch out.
SPEAKER_06This is all raw. Alright, so uh merch. Um, does he have his own spot or is he still chilling with parents?
SPEAKER_01Um, he lives with his parents when he's here, but he more sees with me.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Um, but on the ship he has his own everything.
SPEAKER_06Is he uh um is he in the military?
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_06No, so when you say he's on a ship, like he somewhat lives on the boat, not yeah, he basically lives on the boat.
SPEAKER_01Like he's gone for 35 days and then he comes back for two.
SPEAKER_06Really? Yeah. When a boat's a rockin', don't come a knocking. You know what I'm saying? Um, that's funny because um I want to retire and I want to have my own boat. And you know, like of course you have a boat and then you have like a little boat that to go onto shore, get your groceries, take a shower, do this and the third, right? But yeah, that's what I want to do. That's fucking awesome. Have you been on this boat?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I have.
SPEAKER_06Yeah?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. See sick? No. I mean, we don't when I'm on the ship, we don't go anywhere.
SPEAKER_06Oh, really? You just chill.
SPEAKER_01It's when we're docked, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Oh, um, and the living situation, I mean the sleeping situation, is it like a small bunk or a queen, king, what have you?
SPEAKER_01Um it's like a twin XO, but then he has like a couch, a desk. It's like a whole room.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's cool.
SPEAKER_01Closet.
SPEAKER_06Oh, okay. So uh I guess he's living as a min minimalist or whatever, like he doesn't have a lot of things.
SPEAKER_01Can't bring a lot of stuff on there. That's what's up.
SPEAKER_06Uh I mean, because you know, as women, y'all carry a lot of well, y'all have a lot of stuff.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yes. Shoes, drive, you see my room right now, it is jam-packed, like don't know what to do with all the clothes that I have.
SPEAKER_06Are you gonna um well you have a lot of clothes?
SPEAKER_01Are you gonna kick them kick them down or are you fit into um I have donated a lot of it, given it to my friends and my family, uh-huh, but I do also sell my clothes.
SPEAKER_06Really? Yeah. What's the highest bid? Shoot. You know, there might be some stock or some something.
SPEAKER_01There's like I think the highest I sold one of my bikinis for, it was like$200.
SPEAKER_06$200? What's this? Like a Louis Vuitton bikini or no, I think it was a Benoa. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Okay.$200.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Ain't no fucking way.
SPEAKER_01It was it was like pretty much new.
SPEAKER_06And so Warren worn it once. Yeah. You at least wash it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, of course I wash.
SPEAKER_06Thank God. You know what? There's there's women out there that would wear something, not wash it, and sell it. Oh, see, right? Hygiene is key.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, maybe no.
SPEAKER_06No?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, you better freaking wash everything.
SPEAKER_06Mm-mm. Girl, it's been a minute. Uh a lot of things changed. I think your hair color changed or something. No, it's still the same.
SPEAKER_01Still the same. Oh, I did cut it.
SPEAKER_06Okay, okay, yeah. When I saw her, I was like, yo, she looked mad different.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I cut nine inches off my hair.
SPEAKER_06Oh, look at you. Living on the wild side and shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_06Mmm, okay.
SPEAKER_01Drastic change.
SPEAKER_06Drastic change. That's good.
SPEAKER_01But I like it. It's growing back.
SPEAKER_06So how's the whole modeling thing going with you?
SPEAKER_01It's going a lot better, actually. I've gotten a lot um a lot better deals, better paid gigs, um, brand consistency, everything. Yeah. Um, the brand that I was working with last time I was on here.
SPEAKER_06Yes. Shut the fuck up. For real, what happened? Yeah, like I'm not saying names, but what happened? Because I'm cut off.
SPEAKER_01You watch Pitch Perfect, where they Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Cut off.
SPEAKER_06Were they doing you dirty or?
SPEAKER_01Um the owner weird. Like mad weird.
SPEAKER_06Try getting you in them skins. Like weird. Shit. Really? Ooh.
SPEAKER_01And there's been a lot of girls who've said that before.
SPEAKER_05Really?
SPEAKER_01And everything. And they like the first person that I talked to about it, she worked for him before, and she went, Are you safe?
SPEAKER_06Mmm. Yeah. Damn.
SPEAKER_01So it's it says a lot.
SPEAKER_06I'm gonna ask you this, Casey. Since um we're talking about this, um, why do you think it's so difficult for men to like keep it like kosher with you know women? Because, you know, I see you, you know, like I'm not saying you ugly or you pretty or whatever, but I mean, I wouldn't try you know, like me, I wouldn't, I wouldn't try. It's one of those, like, oh, okay, hey, Casey, what's up? You know, like I'm not trying to dig cheeks or whatnot.
SPEAKER_01There's there's some guys, like when I came onto this pod, I knew that everything was like chillin', whatever's, but there was one time where he told me he was he told me that I shouldn't have a boyfriend. Like he was when I first got with my boyfriend, he was like, No, the only men that you should trust in your life is your dad and me. And I was like, Whoa.
SPEAKER_06Okay, see, that was a red flag and me. Yeah, I was like, But the whole boyfriend thing, I could understand that because if if I see a person with potential and someone is like dragging them down, just like crabs, right? Just trying to get out of the bucket, other crabs bring them down. If I see that, it's like, yo, you shouldn't have one, just fucking do you, yeah.
SPEAKER_01But then at the same time, like my boyfriend would drive me to the photo shoots. He would like he's really supportive with everything that I do. So it was really weird for him to be like, you don't need like you don't need him.
SPEAKER_06Oh. Yeah. Wow. So stuff like that just turned you off.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So I was like, I don't really, I don't really need that energy.
SPEAKER_06Oh, girl, I was um a couple days ago, I was talking about like peace within myself, right? Like, I'm not gonna let some jamoke interrupt my peace. You feel me? And yeah. Fuck that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, thank you.
SPEAKER_06Well, I'm glad that you're in like in a better headspace.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and once I like I ooh, so you there's no way brands were rising. I think a lot of people like didn't want to work with me because I was working with that brand, because a lot of people didn't like the owner, didn't like the brand. Shut your ass.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Was it a good was it a good brand at least?
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_06Now you say no, but back in the day you would have said, Yeah, I was I was hyping it.
SPEAKER_01I was hyping it. I mean, they were doing like a lot of things for me, like I got to travel and everything, but once like once I started having to do like more and everything, it was just like he he let all of the other girls, he was like, Oh yeah, bring your boyfriends, whatever, whatever. But then with me, it was no.
SPEAKER_06Oh.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So you were like targeted somewhat was was there weird vibe have you ever been alone with them? Yeah. Was there weird vibes even then? Really? Um for people that I guess are asking the question. Um the vibes that you got from him because you guys were alone, and when we do this pod the very first time, how were the vibes different?
SPEAKER_01Like when I'm talking to you or hanging out, like just filming the pod, it's all like fun and you can joke around or whatever, but then with that person, I was more having to like, you know, make sure that there was the distance, like be clear on what I'm here for, and just do my job and leave.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Like there was no downtime, there was no chilling, like your guard always had to be up.
SPEAKER_06And you said it's happened with other females too.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_06That's lame, man.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06That gives us motherfuckers like a bad name because there's a lot of cats out there that are genuinely just trying to have a conversation, trying to keep it kosher, this and the third, and then you got a motherfucker like that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I never really talked about it until right now. So sneak peek into this.
SPEAKER_06Me, me, me, me oh, bitches. Fuck yeah. Spelling all the kinds of tea.
SPEAKER_02Anyway.
When A Brand Crosses The Line
SPEAKER_06Oh my god. Okay. All right. And um, besides that, everything good, the brand that you're with is gone. You're with new brands or just brand. Like, do you have like a management brands?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, um, my mom is managing me right now. Okay. So she's been handling all of like the emails and everything. But the my favorite brand that I'm working with right now, like that's been really consistent, is Happy Wahine.
SPEAKER_06I've heard of them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's where I just came from.
SPEAKER_06Really? Yeah. Um, and they paid you. Or is it is it with cash or is it with like is it with merch?
SPEAKER_02Um, cash.
SPEAKER_06Oh, really? So you're getting compensated more with cash as in before it was merch and like free stuff.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because before a lot of the brands would give me um like merchandise or whatever, and I really appreciate it because it helps build my content and I love making content for other brands.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But I also do like getting paid. So when it's when it's both, oh girl, I'm gonna go all in for y'all. Like I make sure that every piece of content that I put out there, especially when it's paid, I make sure that I I do my best.
SPEAKER_06Well, go ahead. Go ahead. Cause I remember first it was just um you were getting merch. Now you're getting wow, what's that like six months to a year?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Fucking changed a lot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Look at you, girl. She's thriving and being successful.
unknownMm-mm.
SPEAKER_06And again, no school in the picture is just saying, like, nah, I'm not trying to go to school. I'm a small thing.
SPEAKER_01I really didn't want to like stay in school. I'm still like, you know, doing this and that, but I switched my major to marketing. So I'm doing a lot better than when I was in architecture.
SPEAKER_04Really?
SPEAKER_01That was it. I was telling you last time when I switched my major, and they were like, hmm, I don't know. And boom.
SPEAKER_06Marketing. So marketing early now. Market it, you're understanding marketing a little bit more now. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like a lot more.
SPEAKER_06That is good. Like making business plans and like cost estimate worksheets and everything.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because I'm marketing myself first to the companies, and then I'm promoting their brands. So I'm getting it from a lot of different angles. And I like it.
SPEAKER_06Definitely angles. Um speaking of these, uh, has uh has there ever been a brand since the last time we talked um that didn't go through because of I don't know, paperwork or some shisty shit?
SPEAKER_01Um no. All the brands that I've worked with are amazing.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Any people that have sent me PR or like make photosho or propose photo shoots and everything like that's put together, they're amazing.
Red Flags Versus Real Support
SPEAKER_06Oh, ready to dig into these questions? Cool, okay. First one was um compared to your old person and now your new person, what was the red flag that you ignored at first? Like was there like your old guy, what was the red flag that you ignore, like you ignored back then, but now it's like damn, that motherfucker was like a walking Oh, there's so give me one, give me one then. If there's a lot, just give me one.
SPEAKER_01I'm trying to think he's just egotistical to the max. Like, if I had to say he did not care about anybody besides himself.
SPEAKER_06Really? Yeah. Why is that? Why do you think people are like that? Or like what fed his ego? Was it you? Were you like, damn, boy, you fine? No, was it other girls or whatnot?
SPEAKER_01Shoot, he was cheating on me, so it might have been the other girl.
SPEAKER_06You're a fucking dummy. Damn straight. I'll tell you, my ego boost is when it compliments me.
SPEAKER_01Oh, type shit.
SPEAKER_06Like for real. That's like what a gay guy is like, oh, Chris, you're big.
SPEAKER_01I love it when pretty girls compliment me. Right? Is it aren't you? It feels so much better than if a guy's like oh you're cute. Don't talk to me.
SPEAKER_05Really?
SPEAKER_01Don't talk to me. Um, no, I think like that was the the big difference with my boyfriend now compared to that other guy.
SPEAKER_03That other guy.
SPEAKER_01My boyfriend now, he will support me through everything. Like, he takes care of me, like he will put me first. Like, oh that's good.
SPEAKER_06I love I love him L word already, six months. When was the first time that the L-word dropped?
SPEAKER_01Shoot. I think that's how we like actually got into a relationship.
SPEAKER_05Because we're like man, Casey, man, girl, I've been loving you. Yeah. And then it's like, wanna be my girlfriend.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like all of our friends were like, bro, like he likes you, whatever, whatever. And I'm like, no, he doesn't. And then you're oblivious to that. Um yeah, I honestly like I just loved being around him so much that I never really like thought too far into it. And then when I finally like looked at the bigger picture, I was like, oh my gosh. Okay, I think I think I should be with him.
SPEAKER_06Like, did your friends see it come in? Like him and you getting together? Really?
SPEAKER_01I think everyone everyone did, but but us. Oh really? Oh okay, okay, cool. And then it finally happened and we were just like Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Well uh what what intuition uh intuition that you had that made you go all in with this guy?
SPEAKER_01Um the way he treats people. Like he's very nice, he's extremely emotionally intelligent. Explain that because uh like he understands like the right time to say things, how people feel, like he analyzes everything before he speaks.
SPEAKER_05That's good.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, local kid, yeah. Wow, not to down like local kids here or local men, but yeah, the the folks that I talk to like just randomly, they're not all there when it can't when it when it comes to you know being emotionally engaged and involved, um, you know, they think out of emotion and not logic.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So yeah, I'm glad you found a good one.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. Me too.
SPEAKER_06Um, has he told you his goals or like his five-year plan, tenure plan or whatnot?
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06What's what's one thing?
SPEAKER_01What's a what's a five what's a short term goal that short term goal I know that we're gonna stay in Cali for a month um during the summer because he's gonna upgrade um like to get a promotion for his job. Oh nice. Yeah, he's gonna go to like this training thing.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh. Yeah. And what's the long term goal? Marriage?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_06Yes. Oh, the whole picket fence?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_06Wow. In Hawaii?
SPEAKER_01I hope so.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01But you know, with how it's costing and everything, like a lot of factors.
SPEAKER_06Down removed to the mainland or um Yucatan, Zimbabwe, one of them places.
SPEAKER_01Ooh. Um, I mean, I would really have to think about leaving. I really don't want to. But like if it really came down to it, if that's what we had to do together, then I would be okay with it.
SPEAKER_06Next question. You built your career off posting, tagging, and consistency, right? But at what point did you realize I can't trust everybody in the space?
SPEAKER_01Probably after the last brand that I worked with. Because I was very like open and trusting to every brand and everyone, just because you know, it's really hard to put yourself out there and make sure that you're getting the consistency that you need.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But once you have someone like basically play in your face and you just gotta know like your limits to everything. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Um, so with these new brands, are these are you fucking around with like new photographers as well?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um, my bestie boo Hayley, um, she is Happy Wahine's photographer. She's great.
SPEAKER_06And then outside of that, you're messing with new not messing, but you were getting photographed by other new photographers that haven't shot you before?
SPEAKER_01Um, no. I don't think so. Most of the photographers that I work with, I've worked with them previously.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_01So they're all chill.
SPEAKER_06That's good. Yeah, they're all great. Well, I'm gonna scratch that other question out because the question I had after that was uh what's your process for vetting photographers before you even show up? So I'm gonna scratch that bitch out because you know all of that. Um because of that let's be on paying decent ones, be protected. Oh, nope. You talked about that already. Fuck, you think learning how to vent the business? Okay, let's go to the next one. Um early on, you know, you're getting okay, so now you're getting cash offers, right? Um tax season just passed. How does that shit work out for you with like the whole tax bracket and like Okay, you're kind of asking uh the wrong person. So ask your mom.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, ask my mom.
SPEAKER_06Oh, okay. I don't know, I don't know shit about that. Do you have a uh do you have a savings or some type of like in case shit happened fun? Yeah, yeah, that's good. Not too many people. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01And then, you know, only spend when I need to. I don't really be buying anything, especially stuff that I don't need. I mainly spend my food on my food.
SPEAKER_05Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, you already know where it goes to. Food and food and gas.
SPEAKER_06Oh, true that. Oh, the gas prices went up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like crazy. But um I did a collab with uh with a cafe the other day. Um, Cafe Vintage.
SPEAKER_06Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_01Their stuff is pretty delicious.
SPEAKER_06Oh my gosh, the avocado toast, Primo.
SPEAKER_01I tried matcha for the first time.
SPEAKER_06Is that the green drink, right? Not my tea, not my tea.
SPEAKER_01I tried it. They're like lavender matcha.
SPEAKER_06Lavender.
SPEAKER_01It was so good.
SPEAKER_06Really?
SPEAKER_01Like really, really, really good.
SPEAKER_06Did it make you poop? Um that's too far to think back. I don't know. Probably. Matcha is supposed to make poop. Most likely. Poop. High fiber, I think.
SPEAKER_01I think they use like oat milk or something. Oat milk.
SPEAKER_06So it's like less harmful.
unknownOkay, fine.
SPEAKER_06Less harmful, she says.
SPEAKER_01Less harmful to the stomach, I guess. I don't know.
SPEAKER_06Oh, okay. Are you a pooper?
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_06Really? So shit gets stuck in there.
SPEAKER_01I guess so.
SPEAKER_06Oh, girl.
SPEAKER_01Or the vlogs. I'm just a girl with stomach problems.
SPEAKER_05Like, yo, Casey doesn't poop. It just stays like that's gonna be the clickbait.
SPEAKER_06Casey doesn't it goes down to her kneecaps and shit.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? I'm gone. I'm dead, actually.
SPEAKER_06What's something you used to accept that now you'd walk away from you know that uh recent situation, both um the BF and that business?
SPEAKER_01Um shoot. Just making me feel uncomfortable in what I'm doing or just putting me down. Uh all the brands that I've worked with since then are amazing. And my boyfriend. Even more amazing. So I just I'm looking out for myself, but I know that the people that I work with and the people that I have around me, yeah, they all support me.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So you tolerated a lot from you know, from like this last brand and from your BF, right? What was like the final fucking straw? Like, especially with the brand.
SPEAKER_01We we know about the guy, but with the straw, like the brands, yeah, like we were on we were on a trip and that was the first brand trip that I went on with a boyfriend.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01And it was very hectic. Like, he was just like, you gotta do this, you gotta do that, blah blah blah. And then like we were at that like dinner or whatever's, and that was when he was drinking, and he was like, Yeah, you should not like you shouldn't trust or care about anyone who's not your dad or me.
SPEAKER_06Like, what? Was he trying to be like somewhat your manager or whatnot? Is that the vibe that he was giving you? Or no, or was it something totally different?
SPEAKER_01It was just yeah, it was just off.
SPEAKER_06God damn.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay, okay. Yeah. Because he knew that my mom was managing me too. Uh-huh. So it was kind of like.
SPEAKER_06Do you think he would like, like, say if you were still with his brand, right? Do you think he would try and undercut your mom and like I wouldn't be surprised.
SPEAKER_01Oh. I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, he was paying me, unlike the other girls. He wasn't paying the other girls. He was only paying me. Uh-huh. And then he told me like not to say anything. But then he called like a team meeting and I didn't go. And he was talking about me at the meeting, and he was like, Yeah, did you know? Did you know that she gets paid and she didn't tell you? Or did you know that she does this and that and whatever, whatever? And he was like, Oh, yeah, and do you notice that she's been off since she got a boyfriend? Like whatever, whatever. Like, not not doing not doing as much. He was trying to say that I was not doing my job and whatever, whatever. And that shit pissed me off. That shit was that was my final straw because one of the other girls filmed it. Like she had her phone like nowhere. And recorded it and came back and woke me up and was like.
SPEAKER_06Woke you up from your slumber.
SPEAKER_01From my sleep, and was like, I think you need to listen to this right now.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01And we're leaving the next morning. Went to the airport. I didn't even ride in the same car as him. He told me that for the trip I had to ride in the same car as him. And I was like, no, no, I don't.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Like the other girls are riding with the girls. I'm gonna go with them. Like you still go on the trip? Oh, I mean.
SPEAKER_06Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01So I was like, oh my god, I'm stuck somewhere else. Like with no help. And then like when I heard that video, I was just disgusted. Like, I was sickened.
SPEAKER_06Well, girl, you just woke up and shit. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So I was like, fuck this. And then as soon as the plane landed, I did not like the girl that was with me, I was like, okay, I love you. Like, bye. And she was like, I love you too. Literally grabbed my stuff and dip. Like, did not say bye to nobody because the other girls was like, you know, kind of what is that? Glazing him like to the max. So then I was like, okay, they didn't really like fully understand the situation that was going on. I even tried to explain it to them and they like weren't.
SPEAKER_06They still fucking win him?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Really? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So then I was like, okay. Literally grabbed my bag and ran. Like off the plane. Just left. You don't do talk to the uh to the other girl still, or the girl that um I was friends with and whatever's, yeah, I still talk to her, but everybody else, no.
SPEAKER_06Really? Yeah. Mm-mm. Messy, messy, messy.
SPEAKER_01Very, very messy.
SPEAKER_06Uh, next question. Um, you get it, you get attention online and in public that comes with access. So what boundaries did you have to put in place to uh protect yourself?
SPEAKER_01Um, okay, there's like one, if I don't follow them back, it goes straight to my DM requests. And I like don't really like I don't open my DM requests because there's a lot of like weirdos that will definitely be sliding into my stuff. Um in person, nobody really talks to me in person. Like if a guy tries to approach me in person, I will like most likely bark at them. Like I'll be like go away. Go away. Really? But no, my sister, if my sister's with me or my friends, they will like literally like really, yeah. Like everybody, everybody I know knows that I'm like locked in. Yeah, and no man should be talking to me.
SPEAKER_06Good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Good. I wonder what happened if I love it over here. I wonder what happened if like if I did that with you. Like I s like, let's say I saw you at a freaking food land, right? And you know, I'm like, oh shit, there's Casey. I'm gonna say what's up. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, yeah, we're saying just acknowledging you that's people know that I know you and I've worked with you.
SPEAKER_01Like if I if my photographers or anyone like came over and was like, oh hey, Casey, I'm gonna be like, hey, what's up? Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_06You know, we're chilling. So they're not that protected. Yeah, it's like cool.
SPEAKER_01No, no, it's like a rando. Yeah, or like it depends on your intentions, you know what I mean? Like if you came over and was like, oh, what's up? You know, I would tell you hi. But if it was like someone being like, hey, you're cute, whatever's go away.
SPEAKER_06So um now that you have a boyfriend, did those boundaries tighten up or did they stay the same?
SPEAKER_01I think my my boundaries have have been like that for most of the time. I think it's just like that absolutely don't talk to me for other guys. Uh huh. That's the only thing that's like more put in place. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06Okay, I get that. Yeah, I get that shit.
SPEAKER_01Because my DM requests have been on like since I made my account public, I made my account like that.
SPEAKER_06Was your account always public?
SPEAKER_01No, it was private at first, but then when I first started modeling, uh-huh, um, brands don't really want to work with people who have private accounts because they want their stuff to be seen. So I made mine public.
SPEAKER_06When I DM'd you, was it public already or was it Yeah? Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_01Okay, oh but sometimes like if the requests get like overflowed, I get like a blank thing. And so I was like, oh, some somebody messaged me. And then I went and you were at the top. So then I was like, huh, what is this? So then I showed it to my mom, and then she was like, I remember okay, that's that's cool.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, okay. Oh, thanks, mom. Appreciate you, mom, auntie, mama, mama jer.
SPEAKER_01Momager, mommager.
SPEAKER_06Um, do do do okay. Um, uh, oh, how does your boyfriend um handle the attention you get? Because that's where a lot of relationships start to crack. So the attention that you're getting, um how's he handling that?
SPEAKER_01I mean, I don't really think he minds, he knows that like I'm with him or whatever, but he also has like a lot of followers on Instagram. He has a lot more followers than I do. He has almost 18,000 followers. So he stunts on me with that, to be honest.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Um, so I'm gonna flip it. What do you think of like his following and like maybe the DMs that he's getting on the low?
SPEAKER_01Um, I don't care.
SPEAKER_06Oh, really? Yeah, I don't care. You're that um I don't wanna say confident.
SPEAKER_01Secure.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, you're that secure of your man's. Yeah. Oh.
SPEAKER_01Well, look at you.
SPEAKER_06I mean, that's good.
SPEAKER_01I know that's it's kind of crazy. Like, I wouldn't think that I would because like even before like relationships before I'd be like, let me see, like yeah, who the blah blah blah. Uh huh. But like with him, I'm like, nah, he's not he wouldn't do that. Yeah.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01And I have full access to anything that I would like if I'm hanging out with him, he'd be like, oh, can I just see your phone? Yeah, sure.
SPEAKER_06Oh.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
The Small Gestures That Seal It
SPEAKER_06Speaking of your BF now, what did he do to like um what did he do that made you take him more serious? Um because you I'm gonna assume that you've known him for a coup minute, yeah?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So what made you like, oh shit, BF material?
SPEAKER_01Shoot, I think he's always been boyfriend material. Like when we were friends, he would be like, Oh, like one day I told him, like the night before, I was like, shoot, I like really want Starbucks. Oh, like blah blah blah. The next morning he called me and he was like, Oh, like come outside. And he memorized my Starbucks order and he brought it to the house.
SPEAKER_06Was that the time where you uh thought to yourself, man, this guy is different from I was like, Yeah, wow.
SPEAKER_01I never had somebody like just come up out of the blue and get me something. I was like, that's kind of crazy. But then um, I think when he officially asked me to be his girlfriend, that was like a pretty serious moment.
SPEAKER_06Oh, really?
SPEAKER_01That's when it like really, really clicked.
SPEAKER_06Where were you?
SPEAKER_01Or what was we went to a steakhouse?
SPEAKER_06Oh, ooh, okay. Were you all dressed fancy and shit? Really? Heels? Slippers.
unknownHeels?
SPEAKER_06I wear heels, toes painted. Oh girl, look at you. Um hair on the armpits or anything. Were you wearing like a top?
SPEAKER_01Uh like I was wearing um a strapless, like body con dress.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Oh, what was my man's wearing?
SPEAKER_01He was oh, his outfit was nice. Um, he just cut his hair too, so that was really nice. Um, he was wearing all black because I was also wearing all black. Okay. And then he was wearing black jeans, like a a black, like pro club type of shirt, and like this black jacket with a hat that I got from one of my brands that I gave to him. So he was looking good.
SPEAKER_06Girl, go ahead. Mm-mm. And um cool. What'd you guys do afterwards?
SPEAKER_01Um, shoot, what did we do afterwards? I don't remember. Is that bad? I'm sorry. Oh, I remember like after we left the steakhouse, we forgot where we parked the car, and we were walking around for like a good 30 minutes looking for where we parked a car. That's all I remember. Loser. He was like, he was like, shoot, I swear it was right here. I was like, okay, this is where I thought it was too. And we're just walking up and down the parking structure for a good 30 minutes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, you're lame. Um, uh, besides him being like conscious with your orders and like being aware of you know what your likes and dislikes is, um shit. What was that one big reason why you chose like differently from the the prior guys that you were with?
SPEAKER_01I mean, I guess that's a contributing factor, but like I just always loved, like ever since I met him, I just always loved being around him. Like it really did not matter what we were doing or where we were going. Like, I was hanging out with him when he was just working on his car.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like anything. I just like spending time with him.
SPEAKER_06That's good.
SPEAKER_01So that was like the main thing that I was just like, oh, no matter what we're doing, I'm gonna be happy. We're just together.
SPEAKER_06Girl, go ahead. Girl. This is the uh before and after. What's the biggest difference between you when you were single and you in a relationship now?
SPEAKER_01Um shoot. I mean, before I was like going out a lot more, like I don't shoot.
SPEAKER_06I don't really like it going out as in like drinking and clubbing, going out as like with friends, like what do you mean like specifically like going out?
SPEAKER_01I really don't I don't know, hanging out with our friends more. And I don't I feel like I was just so much less focused when I was out of a relationship. Like when I'm single, I just wasn't using my brain, to be honest. Like, I feel like I was so stupid, like not really paying attention, not focusing on my goals and whatever is, but like as soon as I was hanging out with him more, everything just started to like go into perspective.
SPEAKER_05Really?
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, I was locked in on school more, locked in on modeling and everything.
SPEAKER_06That's good. Yeah, so because I guess you had like he had like the right element to I guess push you forward to get you on track with everything.
SPEAKER_01Not to give him that much credit. I mean I know, right? It's easy.
SPEAKER_06I love you, but like, hey man, great girl.
SPEAKER_01I did it myself also.
SPEAKER_06Like um, what's harder having standards when you're single or maintaining them when you actually care about someone?
SPEAKER_01Uh I think it's easy either way. Oh. Like I always knew my standards, like everything. Before I just put up with bullshit, and then I actually found someone who I'm like, damn, I was worrying about all of that for nothing.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Like, with him, I really don't have to like make sure that he's being loyal or just check in to see if he loves me. Like, I I just I know it, I feel it.
Why Casual Rarely Stays Casual
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Yeah. Girl. Um back in the day in our first pod, we talked about um like casual situation. Casual situations, right? Um, looking at it now, do you still stand on that?
SPEAKER_01Wait, what was my take on it? That I I think I said uh that either way, someone's gonna catch feelings. Yeah. I think that's what I said, right? Yeah, I stand on that. Like, if you're gonna do there's no such thing as like casual, casual. Like either way, you guys are intimate. Like something happened between you two. If in the future you're like, oh yeah, that's my friend. Are you really?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I don't know. Like, like, does casual ever really stay casual?
SPEAKER_02No, I can see that.
SPEAKER_06Well, you know what? I don't I don't see let me take that back. Casual could mean casual if both people understand what's happening.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, if like you don't want them to be in your future, like you don't in as friends, as anything, like I guess if if that's what you want to do, go ahead and do it. I'm not the one here to tell you that you shouldn't do it, but like personally, just I'm gonna tell you, don't do it. Like, don't do it. That's just it's gonna suck in the long run. It's gonna suck. Cause like it's gonna make your significant other like I don't wanna say worry, but like, you know, if they're around and you're just like, oh no, yeah, this is my friend, yeah. You don't tell them like what happened between you two before and it comes out later, you're fucked.
SPEAKER_06So is that a big thing for you? Like, let's say um you're mad now, uh, a person that he he used to not say canoodle with, but like, you know, used to talk to.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Was walking up. Would you want that transparency from him? Saying, yeah, uh, babe, uh, I used to uh hang with her or whatnot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean he would want it from me, so really, yeah.
SPEAKER_06And you wouldn't care.
SPEAKER_01Why is As long as he's not like you know, acting all weird or whatever. It's like, say one of the girls was walking over and he was like, Oh my god, oh my god, like blah blah blah. Then I'd be like, go, go f Yeah, okay. Get the fuck away from me then. But he's not that type of guy. He would be like, Okay, so I'm just gonna tell you right now, like blah blah blah, just just to be honest. And then I would be like, Oh, okay. But then if they were to like walk over and be like, oh my god, hi, know your place.
SPEAKER_06So it's up to know your place. So it's up to him now for the hey, I'm with her. Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_01But I feel like he would do that anyways, it really wouldn't matter. Like, uh, I think his ex-girlfriend was like liking his stories and stuff of us.
SPEAKER_06Well, what's wrong with that? What's wrong with us? Yeah, what's wrong with that?
SPEAKER_01Like, she That's not support. That's like, oh, I see you. But she's liking y'all too.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Why do you see it that way?
SPEAKER_01That's like that's like if another girl came over and be like, oh my god, you guys are so cute together.
SPEAKER_06Okay, yeah. What if what if it's like Yeah, we are?
SPEAKER_01We don't like, yeah, we are. Don't need you to tell me that. Not to sound like a bitch. Okay, wait. I feel like that was really bitchy. Yeah. Hold on. No, I mean, like, if it's someone that like he got with before and she's like, oh my god, you guys are such a cute couple. I know.
SPEAKER_06Okay. Like, and then wait, no, no, thank you.
SPEAKER_01It's just a blunt, like a no, like in my mind, I'll be like, I know, and then I'll be like, Thanks.
SPEAKER_06Jinx, I'll measur you.
SPEAKER_01Thanks.
SPEAKER_06Ah, okay.
SPEAKER_01Hi.
SPEAKER_06Tell me why do both men and women, why are they like that?
SPEAKER_01When because people are really like shady, snakey, like whatever, whatever. I just seen a TikTok of this one girl saying, like, oh, just like, if you are in college and you have a boyfriend, watch out. And I was just like, okay, wait, I really want to see where this is gonna go. She was roommates with this girl, and then the girl was like taking the boyfriend was taking their picture together, and she was like, Oh, don't worry, girl, I'm not gonna stay your man. Okay, and then she made in the video, she was like, Oh, I know, but what the hell gave you the idea like that you could say that?
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01That's what I think. When a girl's like, Oh, you guys are so cute together, you're looking at him and analyzing how he looks next to me.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01So why would you not try and picture yourself next to him?
SPEAKER_06Wow, that's some deep psychological shit.
SPEAKER_01I may just be crazy, but like, you know. Yeah, you might just be crazy because you're not going to be able to do it. I might just be crazy, but like shit. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Oh man.
SPEAKER_01Just saying.
SPEAKER_05Just shit. You got me thinking.
SPEAKER_01I mean, if it's my friends and they're like, oh my god, you guys are so cute. Like, yeah, we are, thanks. Like, blah, blah, blah. But if it's But if it's like a girl that used to get with him before, or like, I know that their intentions aren't fully there.
SPEAKER_06Uh-huh. Question. This is a hypothetical. You and your man's now um live off your life happily ever after. Your ex um is with um, you guys, you know, like he uh he apologized for everything he did. You guys are friends. Hold on. And he's with a new boo, right? Along the line of you posting you and your man, you know, being happy, he likes it. Does that, does he fall in that deceptive, naive um category?
SPEAKER_01I think that's just weird. I mean, okay, yeah. But there would also be like no hypothetical where I would be like, oh my god, he apologized. It's fine, let's be friends. Fuck no.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so you you messed up. How about the the men before him? Are you guys friends or like so once a what's an ex-boyfriend done?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Like there's no like if we could y'all could be.
SPEAKER_01There's no way that we can be in that type of relationship. A friendship is still a relationship. Like, you still need trust, you still need like all of that. If I didn't trust you like that, what makes you think I'm gonna trust you again?
SPEAKER_05Oh, you make a point.
SPEAKER_01Like, you wanna like the last one, he's like, I don't see a future with you. I don't care now. I don't care now. I got somebody who sees a future with me now. Uh-huh. And you know, if his future is the way that I see it's turning out.
SPEAKER_06Oh girl. So there's no hypotheticals then, like your exes are just done. No.
SPEAKER_01Gone. Bye.
SPEAKER_06Really? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Bye.
Healthy Arguments And Breaking Patterns
SPEAKER_06Tough one. You're a tough one. Um, here you go. Uh, every couple has disagreements, right? What does a healthy argument look like to you?
SPEAKER_01Um, should we always like just talk it out? There's there's no need to yell, there's no need to like be like, oh, but you said blah, blah, blah. Just let them talk and you talk and just understand how each other feels. Because you're not arguing for nothing.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Like, there's always a reason as to why somebody feels a certain way to just try and figure it out together. Because you're not trying to pin each other like against each other, you know? Like, it's not always like, oh you, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's okay, how are we gonna fix it? Because the goal is to stay together. There's no reason as to why I'll be like, oh, you did this, blah, blah, blah, blah, and be like, I'm right, I'm right, I'm right. Because you don't always want to be right. Like, you want it to end where both of you are right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So you seem like a one of them females that you're you're good to be like locked down with. Why are like women nowadays are so quick to get into that one quick fight and then call it quits and then jump on to like the next man? And vice versa.
SPEAKER_01It's just it depends on how much you care about being with them. And a lot of girls nowadays are scared of being hurt by so not even just girls. Be honest, everyone.
SPEAKER_06So is that why, like men too? Is that why people are jumping ship at that first like disagreement or argument?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because they don't want to feel stuck, they don't want to feel like, oh, I wasted all this time, whatever, whatever. But then, like, at the same time, if you're not gonna work for it, like, then you're not really ever gonna have it. Okay. Like, everything takes work. I'm not saying like you're gonna fucking break your back working for this stuff, but like, you know, it takes effort. You gotta show that you care, you gotta show that you're there. Like, honestly, I don't think it's that hard, but you know, it's it can be challenging.
SPEAKER_06As a woman that's taking now, right? You're taking, um, and you see these things happening, what's going through your head? Like, you see the disagreement, your homegirl's like, yo, fuck him, I'm done. With another dude, same situation happens, I'm out. What's going through your like your head when you're seeing this happen?
SPEAKER_01I hate to pull this out of my boyfriend's book because I hate when he says this, but he's always like, it's a pattern. Like you really gotta pay attention to the type of people that you're talking to, your reactions, their reactions. It's all a pattern.
SPEAKER_06And would it be the so is it the girl? So basically, would it be on the girl then? Or the guy or the person that's just it's both. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, it's it's never just one person. Well, sometimes it can be, to be honest. Let me let me stop. Um, just be aware of yourself and how you act and everything, because when it comes to the future, like you don't want to be the type of person who was like fucking around doing this and that, and then you know, it follows you. Your past follows you. I learned that the hard way. Thank you.
SPEAKER_06So speaking on the past following you, right? Uh if you were single doing this dirt, and now that you're in a relationship, why would that past like hinder you from you know, moving on? Because I mean you're single. Okay, as a guy, you're hoing around, this and the third, you meet a female that's like that really intrigued you, you're getting to know this girl. Now that you're together, why is his past like why should his past hinder him from being happy with this female now? No, if you're saying like the past, you know, follows you.
SPEAKER_01It's just like pay attention to it, I guess, because some people want to bring their past with them. Like, uh huh, like if that makes sense. Like an argument would be like I don't know, hypothetically, if a girl was like, oh well, like I have other people that I could go to, or I have like or this guy would never do that, or whatever. Well, fuck that.
SPEAKER_06That's a done deal. Go be with him then, like that's what I would say.
SPEAKER_01Like, don't don't bring it with you. It follows you, but don't let it like you know be with you at all times. Like, learn from it, but don't repeat it.
SPEAKER_06Are you a a a gut intuition type of type of woman? So you follow your gut or you follow your intuition. What's the percentage-wise? Like, is it always right? Or are you like fitty fitty?
SPEAKER_01Like 70-30.
SPEAKER_06Wait, 30 you're wrong or 30 that you're right?
SPEAKER_0130 I'm wrong. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06How do you feel after that? Like you being wrong. Like you you trusted your gut and you're like, damn, I am totally off with this one. And then how did you make it up?
SPEAKER_01I'm just like, damn it. It's okay. Quick recovery.
SPEAKER_06What's the quick recovery? You're sorry, that's it.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_06Buy this person a Big Mac.
SPEAKER_01If I bought my boyfriend food, he'd be pretty happy, I think.
SPEAKER_06I don't um We're easy. We're easily like we're easily pleased.
SPEAKER_01No, honestly, I don't think I mean when I mess up in my relationship, I don't think it's like drastically messing up. Like I love, I'm loyal, like I'm not trying to be outside or nothing. So I don't think it would be like oh my god, I'm so sorry, like a lot. I don't think I would have to do all of that.
SPEAKER_06You're in a relationship, but you're still doing things independent, right? Alright, so uh you're independent, you move how you move. So how do you balance that with being in a relationship since you're still, you know, doing things independently.
SPEAKER_01Um I think the only thing that's hard about all of it is the time difference and the fact that we always have to talk on the phone because he can't always be here with me. That's the only like challenging part about it. But it's honestly not that hard. Or I'm I I just miss him being here. Yeah. But then other than that, like we're both just living our lives separately but together.
SPEAKER_06So are you okay with I'm not saying the missed phone call or the missed text, but are you okay with like um an hour like hours on end not contacting each other?
SPEAKER_01Um, that happens sometimes because he loses Wi-Fi. So it's like okay. I mean, this morning I haven't got to talk to him yet because I had a photo shoot and then it came here and he's in Guam right now. So like hey, Tatamolik. And um, so yeah, I haven't talked to him yet this morning, but I'll talk to him again later. So I mean, I don't think I think he's happy that I'm doing what makes me happy and helping my career, and he's working to help his career, so we can't really be mad at each other for not answering or not talking to each other all day long because we're both working towards something so that we can be together and you know both be successful in our own.
SPEAKER_06I love the fact that you said that because um it gets tiring when you know or you have to constantly contact someone because it's like some type of set schedule or rule.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Because sometimes, like when I'm out training, I miss like I miss a call or I miss a text of like, you know, to my wife or my kids, right? But it's because man, sometimes I'm just dead tired and I'm just like, yo, fuck my phone, man. Or like die like degressing. Like sometimes I just want to listen to music. I don't want to talk to anyone and I just fall asleep, miss, you know, missing a hop. So yeah, I like how you like how you broke that shit down to where uh you know you're doing something that is happy, he's doing something that's building on the future with both of y'all, and that's not like hindering, you know, you know what I'm saying? Like getting in the way of y'all's like I'm not gonna force him to stay on the phone with me the entire day.
SPEAKER_01Like, if he wants to stay on the phone with me, then he can, if or if he even can because he's working.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I have school, I have my own things to do. Yeah. But he knows what I'm doing and where I'm going, and everything's chill.
SPEAKER_06Everything's chill.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
Leadership Standards And Cheating Culture
SPEAKER_06Cherry. Um, do you think strong women struggle with letting a man lead, or is that just what men say when they can't lead?
SPEAKER_01I think that's what men say when they can't lead. Because I mean, I am I guess I'm a strong independent woman. Yeah. I'm but I have no problem with letting my boyfriend like, you know, he's a man. He makes that money.
SPEAKER_05You're here to spend it.
SPEAKER_01I'm yeah. I'm here to support him through everything that he does, you know, like go make that money, babe. I'll be right here when you get back.
SPEAKER_06What would you say? You said uh that's what men say when they can't wait.
SPEAKER_01When they can't lead?
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Why do you think that's why do you think men can't lead? In your like what's honestly it's when they don't have goals.
SPEAKER_03Oh really?
SPEAKER_01My boyfriend right now, he has his goals, he has his job, like he has his own car, all of that. A lot of guys down here don't got that. They're not working towards something bigger. Like, you gotta see a bigger picture, especially when you're in a relationship, you gotta see a bigger picture. If you're not seeing that future, if you're not working towards it, especially not working towards it together, yeah, it's not gonna work. I feel like I'm being like bitchy all knowing right now. I don't like it. Why? I'm so sorry.
SPEAKER_06I think it's because you've grown from a lot. Yeah, like from your old situation to now. It's like um, like they say guys mature super slow, but girls mature it's like super fast or whatnot. I guess that saying is somewhat true in this case because you've learned and you've adapted of what happened then and you brought it to what you know now. So I think, yeah, you're emotionally matured and shit. Ugh. Giving her flowers. Fuck that shit.
SPEAKER_00Hey, shit. Wait.
SPEAKER_06La la la la la.
SPEAKER_00Oh my gosh. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_06For someone watching this who feels like their standards are too high, what would you tell them?
SPEAKER_01Phew, I mean, what are your standards? Like, how define too high. What is too high? Like, what is something that would be considered too high of a standard?
SPEAKER_06Oh no, man. My standard is like for a woman, you got a job, you could um definitely pump your own gas. Like, all the shit that you could do.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, I knew a girl, like I used to be friends with this one girl, not friends with her anymore, but she never pumped her own gas. See, why the fuck? I asked her one time, I was like, Oh, um, I'm gonna go pay for this stuff. Can you pump it? And she was like, How do I get this thing open? Girl, twist it, put like button.
SPEAKER_05Bro, there's a push.
SPEAKER_01You put it in, you freaking pull the handle, and the gas comes out. Like, what's so hard about that? I don't know. Um no, yeah. Honestly, just if you have your standards, just have them. What is too high? Yeah, yeah, I mean I don't know. I feel like standards is just it's simple. Yeah, no one should be like, if your standards is like, oh, you have to be like six, seven and above.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I know people, I know females like that.
SPEAKER_01Then you're being unrealistic because what if that six seven man is like, oh well, I want a girl who's 4'10 and oh, too bad because you're 5'7, like, bro, be can you be serious? Because there is more to a guy than how he looks. Is he gonna treat you well? Is he gonna be all up in your face and be like, eh, shut up? Like, you want a man like that? Oh, but you're 6'7, so it's okay.
SPEAKER_00Be fucking for real. Be for real right now. What the hell?
SPEAKER_06Oh fuck. Um, and um, what's one thing people still get completely wrong about dating right now?
SPEAKER_01Oh, honestly, okay, the cheating culture is absolutely insane. Why are you in a relationship if you want to go fuck on somebody else? Uh-huh. Like, I think that's the most craziest thing right now. Like, there's been so many times where I'm like, I'm talking to somebody and they're like, oh yeah, like I'm gonna go see this person. And I'm like, don't you have like a girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever? And they're like, Oh, but they don't need to know. Oh, you're crazy, you're crazy. Heck no, absolutely not. I just think that's insane.
SPEAKER_06Like what on the other end, why do you think the person that's so in your situation, the the person that's on the phone saying, Oh, he's gonna see someone, why do you think that other person is willing to go see that person knowing that person is already in a relationship?
SPEAKER_01Shoot, your relationship's already messed up. Why are you in it? Like, if you're looking for something else, you're you're literally looking for something else and you're finding something else. Yeah, why are you gonna drag this other person along and fuck with their mind over what? Just because you got some needs? Like, I guess if they're not meeting it, why are you with them? Why are you not relationship?
SPEAKER_05I mean, fuck, you know.
SPEAKER_00I tried so hard to pull it and not laugh, but like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05Like this is it, man.
SPEAKER_06Because what the heck, like if you're if your knees are not getting met, man, damn it. Two minutes of your time.
SPEAKER_05Figure it out. You know what I'm saying? Figure it out.
SPEAKER_06I told this to like a lot of my friends that are like they're going through it with their spouses, their girlfriends, or whatever, and like they need ass. And I'm just like, dog, ain't nothing porn wouldn't fucking solve.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and also you have categories communicate with your significant other. Oh, oh, communicate with there's this that I want to do. Um, would you want to do it too? Or would you be willing to do this instead of this? Like, brother, why are you freaking texting some other person and being like, oh, let's meet up here and blah blah blah, just don't tell nobody.
SPEAKER_06Do you do you think that the person that's requesting this are afraid of that rejection? Like, do you think that they, you know what I'm saying? Like, all right, I mean, I guess, but like put it in your butt. No, fuck. I'm not, I don't want, I don't want it in the butt.
SPEAKER_05You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06Like, oh fuck, well, I gotta find someone else that wants it in the butt. You know, like, do you think that you know, like they're afraid of that conversation with that other person?
SPEAKER_01Honestly, if you're in a relationship with someone, you should be able to talk to them. That's like the main thing. You should be able to talk to each other. It's really not hard to have a conversation. Just just talk to each other. Like, and if you don't feel comfortable talking to the person that you're in a relationship with, you probably shouldn't be sleeping with them or sleeping with somebody else because that's a lot to commit to. Like, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_06Have you ever been to like a serial dater?
SPEAKER_01Wait, what?
SPEAKER_06A serial dater where you just go on the, you know, not giving up the booty, but just going on these random, you know, these random dates to figure out I like this, I don't like that, this I can learn to like.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, I guess before, like the guys that I was with before, they were like not to be like an absolute bitch, but they're just bums. And they didn't really take me out, they didn't really like, you know, pay attention or give care. Everything that I know, like right now, I hate to give you this much credit again. But like, I figured out how to be myself and be comfortable and have those types of conversations and everything with my boyfriend now. Like, it kind of this relationship really showed me like how a relationship really is supposed to be.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like, before I would be like, oh, I don't really want to ask, or blah blah blah. I will call my boyfriend right now and be like, babe, I need this, this, this. And he'd be like, Okay, well, what do you like, what do you need it for? Blah, blah, blah. I just have to explain myself.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And it'll be done.
SPEAKER_03Uh huh.
SPEAKER_01Like, and he can call me and be like, I need this, this, this done. And or I feel uncomfortable about this, or whatever, whatever. Just talk it out, figure it out, and we're good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's good.
SPEAKER_01Everything. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_06Hallelujah. You are in a good place. I'm happy for you, girl.
SPEAKER_00Thank you.
SPEAKER_06You know, hopefully I get when I get you back on. Um, it'll be some type of oh man, look at my something's heavy. My shit is heavy. Shit, that was fun.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Thank you for coming back on.
SPEAKER_01Thanks for having me. Oh, yeah.
